Employed vs self employed 1

Employed vs self employed

After 27 months of life being employed, i have stepped out @ i quit. Why? People throw me questions
1. Engineer isnt good enough?
2. Not satisfying monthly income?
3. Why wanna let ur 4yrd degree wasted just like that? Not sayang?

Interestingly, I ll tell u why...

Why are we bothered about employment? Are we afraid of no income, so we go and work and wait till month end for pay check? Some people will say no, "I love my job so much that why i bother to leave?"

So let me ask you,

1. We are so afraid that we will run out of money to support our daily life so we go and work, isnt it a long term problem? And is employment a temporary or permanent solution to that problem? So are we putting a temporary solution to a long term problem or a permanent solution to a long term problem?

2. So secondly, we love our job! Yes we should love the job that we're doing. But Why people say we should love our job? So that we get attached to it, enjoy every second and minute of it? So that we able to stay for long? Some people will say "what to do, thats my job." oh man! If today u love ur job, alright if i were the boss, i will ask u to continue to work tomorrow but i wont pay u, what would u do? Do u still love your job? Think about it! All sorts of shit will come out, says "I should get paid for my contribution!" alright, why bother to get paid since you love uour job, just continue to love then! See the point?

Since young, our parents advised us "Boy, study hard so that next time can get a good job and live a good life."

Is engineer a good job? Of course!!! Showing off theory, calculation, power sense of logic, arguments. In the end, we're still looking for figures in the bank account. Why choose engineer? Steady income?
Think about it!!!

I'll continue again.......

This Ek will be kept for classic value with its B series engine.

And therefore, I dare myself to aim for next car in 4 years to come, Lexus IS250. OK OK! my hands gonna reach out there and grab it.

The Door is Always Open

Sometimes I do feel that we're hugging together and cry out loud, when reading my company mails.

Too many helpless and pathetic issue just around the whole plant. It tends to bring you down but we still need to know our objective and direction to go, do not get carried away!

I ever learnt some very mean / cruel / unkind / whatever you may say, which says like this...

"No people force you to be here, if you're unhappy and want to grumble, remember the door is always open."

I'm Gonna Make Something Happen!

Oh hell yeah it's 2012!

Couple of failures and gains though.

In 2011, I'd met and learnt from two high-profile figures who taught me 'this is what you should do in this industry'. Thanks to Hang Fong and Patrick, both left for Shanghai and Guangzhou respectively as regional manager in Process Engineering and QA. Precious experience gained and to be missed.

In 2011 also, I failed in a F&B business set-up with two buddies after several visits to the spot and discussion due to several reasons include expensive rentals.

In fourth quarter of 2011, again offer to move to Penang failed after several counter offer and negotiations. Thanks to Ms Tham for spending almost 1 and half hour time interviewing and sharing end up no fruits and also thanks to my spirit for not giving up, taking flight all the way to Bayan Lepas, understand the location and company background which I wanted so much, Plexus Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd. LOL!! hell yeah! Life goes on!

In 2011, I knew that leaving university badminton arena is not an end yet bacause we emerged champion as engineers for IEM in Inter-Professional Games 2011. Other participating professional bodies including, chemist, doctors, lawyers, pharmacist, surveyors, accountants etc etc. This was not a gold medal match but a charity match because we're professionals!! LOL

In 2011, I finally got myself a damn car, childhood dream car, Honda EK!! With B16A high rev engine makan petrol sampai pocket pun mau makan, just matter of your right foot itchy or not. Power of DOHC Vtec is not a joke, gotta hold steering tight when it rev above 5200, 7000rpm is not a tough job but a sap sap water job! Remember, on paper is 160hp at 7200rpm. Toyota wish, camry, altis, vios, forte and other below 2000cc category cars are not his fight but I'm not sure about accord 2.4 cuz' I haven tried yet!! LOL. TE37 rims next! plus dyno and AF tuning.

In 2011 also, I got myself a damn phone, iPhone 4s after much anticipation. Now more and more things can be done, email access anytime, whatsapp on whatever discussion on time anytime!! things getting faster and faster!! Dont tell me about Facebook msn messnger anymore, Im not fancy about them! Be serious, I'm into real business!

Let's welcome 2012 as I'm gonna make something happen!! Let's see!
