all's i'm thinkin' right now is how i would really love {really need} to go on a run.  right now.  really bad.......
which says to me that this whole running thing is becoming a real obsession......

maybe if it wasn't dark.  or raining.  or cold.
yes, we all already did our runs today.
i know it would make me feel better!  :)

easter.
yeah, so our easter was just like everyone else's.  church.  egg coloring.  egg hunting.  green grass.  food.  yaddi yadda yadda.
there were a couple things that still has me laughing.
1:
cy woke up sunday morning and looked out his bedroom window and was heartbroken cause he thought the easter bunny didn't come because there were NO eggs hidden in the back yard.  we directed him to the living room where the day was saved.  phew!

2:

cy wanted green bunny ears and would only color his dozen eggs green.  he started on one end and was very patient at the beginning, but by the end, those eggs were in the dye, then out. no messin' around.

3:

maddax ate the heads off ALL the chocolate-dipped peeps on my sister's beautiful table display.  {and then started on the extras in the kitchen and got busted.}  i'm sure he was thinking, "who ruined the peeps?!?!?"  maddax can throw down peeps like no one i've ever seen.
definitely an easter to remember.  good times.

he turned 2.  a couple weeks ago.
what?  i've been busy.  and selfish?
sooooooo, in a few years in won't matter that we did 2 yr pics late, right?  oh good, i feel much better, thanks!

we did a lot of celebrating, though.  we had a fun par-tay with cousin maddax, we decorated the house with streamers and balloons and he woke up and promptly tore them all down!  we sang the happy birthday song all. day. long. and every time we did he would yell, "NO." and then we would sing more.  {we even did that for a few days later......and maybe still, once in awhile.  hehehe, it's just too funny!}  maybe next year i will buy him presents and will like his birthday?!?!?!?  anyway, it was a great birthday week!

i totally have tears right now.  like taisha said, this was the most intense thing i have ever put my body through!  we did it, we reached our goals, and we don't feel the need to ever do it again!  haha.
remember when i said, "we are ready."  bwah hahahaha.  i was cry-laughing on the second uphill hike, {the 2-mile one} i thought about when we were all excited that we went up cascade hill 2 times in a row.  nothing could have prepared us for this race!  (although the training we did did give us more endurance than had we not trained.)  i literally had some inner battles that i had to deal with during it.  it was an incredible feeling to finish and to have alayna and her sister at the end cheering for me!  it was sooooo awesome!  and, i am posting more pics when i get them from the race and from alayna. yep, you are going to have to read about this for awhile!!
ashley and taisha: my racing team!  you are unbelievable women and i am so grateful for your support and encouragement.  i could not have done this without you!  i {heart} you!!!  :)
