About Windcutter
Windcutter is my tentative venture into the world of web publishing. As the title might suggest, the principal theme is freight (wagons, their workings and the modelling thereof), during the last decade or two of the traditional wagon. But wagons are nothing without locos to haul them and a setting in which to run them, and other aspects of model railways will find a home here as and when it feels appropriate.
The structure of the site has been developed within the format that WordPress kindly provide. The ‘pages’ that you see above the heading photo are intended to host information and images for the purposes of reference or inspiration, whilst the ‘home’ page is essentially a blog-type activity that will feature material of a more ephemeral nature (although it’ll still be findable via the category tags). The idea of course is that new posts will be added as and when practical, but the ‘fixed’ pages may also show improvements from time to time.
