Welcome to Winter Modular, a Eurorack Modular Synthesizer brand rooted in Barcelona. Founded in collaboration with Befaco crew and Miguel Eedl, our brand exemplifies a harmonious blend of creativity and technical excellence in the world of musical instruments.

Central to our lineup is the renowned sequencer: Eloquencer, a fixture in the Eurorack community known for its exceptional sequencing capabilities. It has earned its place as a cornerstone in modular setups, offering musicians a powerful tool for shaping intricate sequences and musical landscapes.

In the pivotal year of 2020, we formed a strategic partnership with Plankton Electronics, resulting in the creation of Zaps — a comprehensive drum voice module. Boasting an array of features, Zaps emerges as a versatile addition to any setup, providing a percussive voice that is as functional as it is expressive.

Winter Modular modules are meticulously designed to offer musicians and producers a platform for sonic exploration and innovation. With a commitment to pushing the boundaries of sound design, we aim to empower the creative journey of artists in the modular community.

DASSBRUM

DASSBRUM is a powerful kick module capable of producing a wide variety of sounds, ranging from classic kick tones to complex folded timbres. It features an analogue core processed through a digitally controlled matrix of analogue wave folders and envelopes, offering deep sonic flexibility in a compact 8HP form factor. A built-in sweet spot mode ensures optimal pitch envelope relationships for consistently punchy and dynamic kicks.

ZAPS

Zaps is a percussion-line-synth voice designed for creating organic percussive sequences that can mutate over time. It uses a combination of different techniques like controlled randomness, morphing, and storing (or locking) synth-voice parameters in externally sequencable CV-controlled slots. The synth voice is a digitally-controlled-two-oscillator-FM and AM-analog engine with two envelopes and cross-modulation.
