This would alleviate the need to take up extra space in the case w/ the EME just to have a couple of special functions (in the event that one doesn't need MIDI I/O etc.).

Maybe something cool and relatively easy to implement (i think) would be rapid or momentary mutes, as in FUNC + A-H just mutes the track?
I find it a bit long to do a button combination to access mutes, but maybe its just me jajaja
latchable fills would be cool too, so while something is filling you can edit another track while avoiding having to keep one track pressed down
Im also gonna add, would it be possible to edit patterns while another pattern is playing?
For example, im playing A1 but i jump to A2, A1 keeps on playing but I am editing A2, and then launch it when ready. I think it would be super powerful for live performances and improvisations
And last but not the least, could we have multiplications? I have read what you have been saying about the core not being able to compute them after a certain speed, but it would be lovely to have them even for "happy accidents", maybe with a disclaimer too, it would just be great to have them, and it seems like loads of user wants them regardless of stability! Please make us happy 😛

Regarding the Mute combo, we had the doubt when assigning Mute and Fill but at the end we decide the 'complex' combo for Mute and the 'easy' combo for Fill. Exchange it now could be confusing fro users that have got used to.
Regarding the latched FILL. I see Fill like something that is quite momentary. Maybe It could be practical to latch it but I see other workarounds there. For example with EME you can use a MIDI controller with a latch button and then assign the MIDI CC number and MIDI Channel corresponding to the Fill you want to hold ( for example if you want to have a Fill hold in TRACK A, you need to assign CC 70 MIDI CHANNEL 9 to a latch button)
Not sure about happy accidents 😐 , I mean... in some cases could be good but on a sequencer ? Will check it but It want be for this upcoming update.
