Pinterest...A waste of Time?

No!  Justin loves to say "I've lost my wife to pinterest", but in my defense here are a few things that pinterest has inspired me to do...

Side walk paint using cornstarch and food coloring

The Blob which is just a plastic sheet duct taped and filled with water

 Addie's flip flop invite

Spray painted Tee Shirts

Canvas Art (modge podge a picture on canvas)

Fourth of July 2X4's

Pedestals (this was indeed Justin's first pinterest project)

Spray painted wine bottles

And my latest is my $20 mirror.  We got a $6 dollar mirror from Home Resource (a Goodwill for building supplies) used leftover trim from our basement spray painted, crackled it, and glued it on.

Huckleberry picking

Justin and his girls on the four wheeler

Brynn proud of her ability to find a huckleberry.  We did not need to worry about any wildlife stumbling upon us because everytime she found one she yelled "I found one"!

Kenna enjoying her first picking experience.  Her sisters loved picking them for her to eat.

Kenna's facial expressions are hilarious.  This is a common one.

The girls and I showing off our purple fingers...a tall tell sign someone's been picking'

We love going to our "undisclosed" area, where's it beautiful, cool and quiet (until we get there), becoming one with nature, and on this trip watching a mama and baby moose cross our path while we were on the four wheeler.

And the blogging is officially done...

Now that the parents are back in the good ole U S of A I can go back to my one post a year.    But I will post a few pictures of my wonderful sister who got to visit us a few weeks ago before making the move to Logan.  We had a blast with her and can only hope she will visit again very soon!

No we do not gnaw on our cribby

Well in Kj's condition she does gnaw on the crib because we are officially cutting teeth!  Her first tooth made it's debut at 4:00am and KJ wanted to party.  Unfortunately Justin and I did not get the memo and were not in the mood for a party.  But never the less that is what KJ did from 4:00am - 7:00am.  I thought it was from her shots she got yesterday but it was a double whammy, her her shots and her first tooth.

Cinco De Mayo

Ah yes Cinco De Mayo.  This year we celebrated by hanging out with the farm animals and getting our faces painted.

Obviously KJ had enough of celebrating.  She just can't party like her sisters!

Image

We woke up this morning and explained to the girls what cinch de mayo was.  So later that morning we went to the Boy Scouts Pancake Feed and we walked in and Brynn looks around and asks "where are the mexicans".  She was wanting to party with them and was disappointed there was none (I think there are a total of 10 mexicans in Montana).  Of course only KJ would wear her poncho (I have no idea where I acquired ponchos but each girl has one).

Fantastic Gymnastics

Today was Brynn's first day of gymnastics class.  I couldn't help but smile the whole time.  She was so excited and just bounced and beamed from ear to ear the whole time.

Occasionally Brynn will decide to rename our baby, so for as long as Brynn remembers that day we call KJ by whatever name she chooses.  Usually it is Aurora, Ariel and the likes but today we had a baby Brenda.

Let it snow let it snow let it snow

Image

While it didn't snow enough to make a snow man it still snowed.

KJ is starting to fell better (thank heavens).  Last night she only woke up at 1 and 4.  I was a walking zombie for awhile there and am glad to be back to the world of the living!  KJ is really getting around (not crawling but scooting)  I don't know if I'm ready for her to mobile.  I like the idea of sitting her down and knowing where she is if I walk away!
