Wow two more weeks!!

Image

Okay first let me explain this picture. Last Sunday we decided to have a family picture. However, it takes us a few practice runs to get a good one. I always like the messed up ones. And no I am not flipping the camera off I am trying to snap so Addie will look at the camera not her dad.

I am very excited for Christmas. We get to spend it in SLC which is the greatest. I love going to Temple Square and Addie is going to love the lights. Every night her and I turn our Christmas lights on and it always gets a "whoa" (her new comment she says after practically everything). It just seems more like Christmas in Utah. Going snowmobiling eating strata and sausalito treats. Ohh the memories.

Addie and I were on our way to town this morning and her eggs decided to not agree with her. That kid can throw-up with the best of them. I don't know when either one of us is going to eat eggs again!

We had our first ward activity last Saturday. It was the Elders quorum white elephant gift. I gave away some solitaire game and Justin decides to buy a box of chocolate and take a bite out of every single one and then strategically put it back in the wrapper. It was the most traded gift there. We told our friends we were sitting by what Justin did to the chocolates and we were laughing hard every time it was traded. Justin and I actually got good gifts. I got some good chap stick (unused) and Justin got a magazine holder for our toilet (who couldn't' use one of those). We had Addie babysat by one of the beehives in the ward and when we went to pick her up I was shocked by how hyper she was. However, not as shocked as this beehive was by how much energy Addie had. She said she tried to calm her down but to no avail.

It's Finally Over!!!

Okay so we signed the papers yesterday and it is official.....OUR HOUSE HAS SOLD!!! What a relief! We have moved into a two bedroom apartment in Lolo (the city where our land is) and we will start building in a month or two. It was a crazy couple of weeks. We basically moved out in 3 days (we wanted to go to Bozeman and since the closing date was yesterday and the inspector went through the 16th we only had a few days). And unfortunately we didn't recieve a lot of help moving out. That helped the sting of moving from our Branch. If everyone Justin had helped move or helped period we would have had quite the crew, however Justin said I didn't help all those people to get help in return. Whatever I was disappointed in our branch.
So it was Justin our elders and our friend Mike doing all the heavy lifting. But we are moved in (and I really like our apartment who wouldn't we are walking distance to Dairy Queen) and happy.

We got to spend Thanksgiving in Bozeman which is a treat. Addison loved to play with all her cousins. However she gets so wound up that naps are non-exsistant, which makes it harder for her to fall asleep and stay asleep. But the food was good and plentiful. And of course the Black Friday shopping was crazy! Justin was up at 5:00 and I was up at 5:30. Of course when I got up and went to leave our room a little voice said "momma". And Addie was up awake and ready to shop. So she came with me and did fine. She got to pick out a few presents for herself. And to top it all off BYU beat U of U. What a great Thanksgiving weekend.

Happy Halloween

Okay so I am a week late with saying that, but it's my favorite holiday and I feel like I didn't get to celebrate it to it's fullest. We did go trick or treating (more for Justin than Addie) and we went to our office manager's churchs' carnival which was really fun. Image

Addie and I flew in today from SLC. Justin and Nate (his brother) go to SLC every year for a BYU football game. They drove and Addie and I flew. She did so wonderful on the flight there but on the flight home wow it was a nightmare. She didn't get a nap so she was tired and cranky and she let everyone know it. Good thing it is only a one hour flight.

Monday night I got to hang out with Heather. It is always so much fun to hang out with old high school and college friends. I have been blessed with so many great friends and I love that even thought I might not have kept in touch as well as I would have liked I know I can call up and it's like we saw eachother just a few days ago. It's incredable the influence friends have on your life. How I continually lucked out through-out my life is beyond me. I only wish that I lived closer to be able to see more of you. IT is hard living far away from were you grew up. I do love Missoula, but I would love it more if I had some old cronies up here with me.

We have had someone show our house everyday for the past five days. And the same person came through twice today. The second time staying an hour (we were down the street in our car patiently waiting while our dinner got cold). All I know is I wouldn't wish selling there house for a whole year on my worst enemy!

Enjoying Life

Image
Addison and I just got back from the library where Addie made a few more friends. It is so fun watching her interact with other people, adults and kids alike. I had to drop off my car today at the auto body and Addison walks right up to the lady working there and wanted her to hold her. She is funny that way. I am starting to see she is cautious around men, but women and children she has no fear. I am always reminded of the words from her baby blessing "may you be a joy to all you meet". I am seeing that in her already. She craves the interaction with other people. I go to the gym more for her because she loves going to their"daycare" where she gets to play with other kids.

Justin's bothers' family came up for conference weekend and we decided to take Addie and there little girl (who is two months older than Addie) to our indoor waterpark. What a blast we all had. They had two big slides (which were incredibly fast) and then a smaller one for kids. Once I showed Addie where the steps were to the slide that is all she wanted to do. All six of us left that waterpark exhausted.

Addison loved having Natalie over. Getting to wake up to a friend was very exciting. Watching those two is nothing short of comical. They get along great and are hilarious together. They did go on the last four wheeler ride. We sold it to our accountant. I don't know who was more sad Justin or Addison.

Finally it's here!

So today has been a long awaited date for the Winward household...A new office is on tonight at 8:00! Boy we have missed the gang! We had to watch some old episodes last night to get us ready for tonight. We'll be going over to our friends house since we still do not have any television stations. For the past 6 years of my life I have not had television stations. I've had a television just not stations. I hope Justin and I can hold out for a few more years. I really enjoy not vegging out in front of the tube.

So Justin did find out the he tore his Meniscus <--sp? in his knee. We are glad he did not re tear his ACL, but he will still need surgery.

We have some new news on our old employee who stole $1200 dollars from us. This is my first encounter with the court system to see how things are run and I am disgusted!! She confessed to two detectives back in May. She finally went to court Sept 13th were she pleaded not guilty to get more time and now has another court date in Oct. How can someone in our country plead guilty and still be out and about (we see her once in awhile driving around) for five months. Well this experience has put a lack of trust in the court system for me.

Good thing my favorite Holiday is comming up... Halloween! Even though I won't be able to put up all my decorations because our house is still for sale (nine months and counting) I am still excited!

A Whole New Kid

Addison has been ill for the past few weeks. She has been having it come out both ends. I took her to the doctor and they did tests on her diaper, however she was not negative on everything they tested for Rota virus etc... The only other explanation was her reacting to milk products. She has been on Soy for a week now and things are much better. She still has really exciting diapers, but at least they are normal color. Yes, I'm afraid to say it but Addison is starting to fit in with the hippies of Missoula. Be one with your mother earth.

However, on Monday I noticed a huge change in Addie. She got her appetite back is not picky (thank heavens! that got old) and her mood has done a 180. She is a happy, fun little girl. Having her belly full and her sleeping well makes all the difference in the world. Maybe I could have another child...

An exciting time in August

I can't believe summer is almost over! Justin and I just got back from Bozeman. Chase (Justin's best friend) got married and Justin was the best man. It was a beautiful reception! I just wish we were able to go to the temple sealing. However the night before it was Justin's brillant idea to chicken fight and the doctors think he has burst his bursa sac or tore his MCL. We will find out more on Friday.

Jared and Sara have started up there family blog and I thought I would try again with figuring this all out.
