TIMBER...

The second annual Winward cutting of the Christmas tree was a success! Here in Montana you get a five dollar permit and go in your backyard (okay not really but close enough), and chop your own tree. This years tree is a beauty.

Halloween 09

Halloween, my favorite holiday. What could be the worse thing to happen on your favorite holiday you get sick. And I do not remember the last time I was that sick. But I stuck it out. Friday we had our ward trunk or treat and Addie could not believe all the princesses! She had to say hi to everyone dressed up as a princess like her. Justin's costume was awesome. He bought some big ol' sunglasses and a white cane. He was a blind man (we sell blinds) I don't give him enough credit on his creativity, genius I tell ya! I was a witch and Brynn was a butterfly. Saturday we went to the mall (that is where a doctors office is, Justin took the girls trick or treating around the mall and I hung out in the doctors office). But nontheless the girls had fun and Addie got a lot of candy (most of which I threw away I am tempted to easily). But here are a few pics. Sorry they are so crappy, but when you feel like crap you tend to care less.

A motherless weekend....

Image

Yes i did it I abandoned my family. I left them to fend for themselves while I laped it up in sunny California. I even went to Disneyland WITHOUT MY KIDS. Am I now a candidate for the worst mother of the year award, maybe. But the deed is done. And now you all can see the evidence.

Image

My mother, father, and sister who partyed it up with me. Every mom deserves a weekend away and I am so greatful for my family who allowed a little me time. I finished three books, got some wonderful nights of sleep, got sun burnt, went shopping, laughed, ate some great food, and missed my girls and my hubby.

Right before the Toy Story ride. Yes my mom did an amazing come back to kick my bum beating me buy 1000 points. This was an awesome ride!

Posing in front of Bubba Gumps (we didn't eat there but couldn't resist a kodak moment)

In the car B4 Disneyland we are teeming with excitement

And the birthday girl who got to live it up at Disneyland on her birthday. How fun is that?!?!

I'd like to thank everyone who made that get away possible.....

Aunt Frances who graciously gave me buddy passes to get to SLC. Lets face it my little dodge neon was not going to make the drive!

My Mom who had the idea to do this. She is the planner of all vacations and I love her for all that she does!
My dad who is always the vacation navigator. Without him we'd be driving around in circles!

My parents are such amazing people who I can laugh with! I am greatful for the friendship I have with them.
Image
And the MAN who had the patience and love to really make this happen my husband! I am so blessed with a husband that has such a great relationship with his kids. The girls enjoyed movie nights with popcorn, sleeping on the air matress having their "sleep overs" and I am sure eating their fill of ice cream. They had a great time with dad and I am so thankful for him letting me run away for a bit.

Trip to Salt Lake

While Justin was hunting, me and the girls decided to do a two week trip to SLC. We had a blast going to parks, the aquarium, meeting new friends, hanging out with cousin Juju, Grandma Grandpa and Auntie Em, and going to a bouncy house. Justin showed up at the end to join in on our fun. Here are a few picture highlights...

Cheap Entertainment

Yes for all those who know me REALLY know me, know that I am cheap. I rarely buy anything that is not on sale and garage saleing is a favorite past and present time. Even in high school shopping at Savers was my favorite thing to do (especially on half price day). Now I look for cheap entertainment for our kids. Here is one idea to put your sleds to good use all year around!

Winding Down Summer

Well I can't believe it's September. This summer flew by, but I am big fan of Fall with the cooler weather, the beautiful colors, the crazy BYU fans that seem to gather here on game days, and of course my favorite holiday HALLOWEEN!!

But this summer was a blast and we finished it out with a bang. We got to spend some time at our water park, go camping (in our backyard), lived it up at our fair, and even floated our canal.

Lake Was Divine In 2009

Image

Another wonderful year at the annual Seeley Lake reunion. This year we got our own cabin (no more moochin off of the in-laws) and we stayed the whole week. It was a blast! We got a wave runner and did some tubin and wake boardin (well Justin wake boarded), picked some huckleberries, ate some GREAT food, swam, tie dyed, played steal the flag, launched water balloons, read my book (currently I am enjoying books by Clive Cussler) and managed to squeeze in a few movies and a little Guitar Hero. It was the fastest week of the year and the week after the lake is always the slowest!

Feliz Aniversario

Image

It's been five years since Justin and I tied the knot. This love affair started when Justin came over to my apartment in Bozeman wanting some info on an inactive teammate. He was with another missionary so I thought he was an missionary and ashamedly checked him out (who can blame me). Of course he will claim I was scantly clad in a tank top and cut off sweats but who was checking who out? What an amazing five years it has been. I'm blessed to have married my best friend who so patiently puts up with me. Love you Justin! To Eternity and Beyond!

O my goodness...

Oh my goodness is right on! I have a three year old! I can't believe I am saying those words. She did have a fun filled day with ballons, froggy cupcakes (courtesy of her dad the baker) and a big water filled party. She had lots of friends over to play on the slip and slide, trampoline with a sprinkler underneath, pool, and lots of water balloons. It was a last minute idea to invite people over but I'm glad we did. She loved seeing so many friends. She also wore her princess dress everywhere that day and loved the attention! We got her some dress ups I found at a garage sale and they were a big hit. Looking back over this last year she has grown up so much. She is getting easier to handle (could be that we can reason with her more or we are gaining more patience). She is such so spunky and makes everyday exciting! She is an amazing big sister and a blessing in our family!Image
