Granddad's Birthday--99!

On July 20 Jim's dad turned 99! Our daughter Jeanne graciously hosted a birthday party for him at her new home. We had a delicious dinner and Jeanne put together a book of memories we've had with Granddad. It was a wonderful time and Granddad and Grandmommy seemed to really appreciate it. We just wish Anne and Benji and Paul, Kim and Adam could have been with us to really make it complete with the whole family.

More Construction!!!

Those who know us know that we love remodeling our home. Well, not exactly love it, but we seem to keep doing it. This time we're re-doing part of the basement bathroom. We're trying to get it ready in time for our favorite (ha ha) daughter and son-in-law to move in. We'll try to keep it updated with pictures as the construction progresses.

Our wonderful children & grandchildren!

Our son, Evan & his dear wife, Emily, have 3 children. Melissa was born in September, 1998, in Charlotte, NC. She passed away just after her 2ND birthday. We love her & miss her. She has 2 younger siblings. Mike (Evan Michael) will be 8 this March. Sara turned 5 this past August.

Our daughter, Jeanne & her wonderful husband, Jon, have 3 children. Ellie (Elizabeth Jean), Lucy (Lucy Helen), and Scottie (Scott Jonathan). Ellie turned 5 this past October, Lucy turned 3 last August, and Scottie was born last March, so he will be 1-year-old on March 7,2008.

Our son, Paul & his sweet wife, Kimberly, have one little sweetheart, Adam Paul, who will turn 2 this May 17Th.

Our daughter, Anne will be married on March 11 to her best friend, Benjamin Lewis King (Benji), of Walker, Louisiana. They will remain at USU in Logan, UT, until Anne's graduation in May of 2009.
