Snow Day

This past Wednesday night/Thursday morning, we had quite the snow storm! These desert rats were definitely out of their element. Ok, maybe just me at least, because Wolfgang went into Austrian mode when shoveling the snow, I was impressed. What a man.

Here is what it looked like at around 10:00pm

 Then the next morning at 8am, it looked like this!  I even got the day off and Wolfgang worked from home; it was pretty great.

 Isn't that insane?!  I haven't seen this much snow in a very long time.  I don't even think in the 2 years I live in Idaho, that I saw this much snow.

 Now two days later, a lot of it has melted, and now we just have mostly high walls of snow all over town as proof.  It was fun, but I'm looking forward to springtime!

Do you like house and techno music?  I don't. Unless I have the urge to have a dance party in my apartment, or that once in a blue moon that I like dancing in public.

Went to Target tonight, and took this picture:

It's kind of hard to read, but in the back, the middle brown poster says, "Get your year into gear."  The set up was quite inviting I do have to say, so I took a quick glance.  Underneath the sign it had water bottles, exercise equipment, etc.  But the best part of it all? In the immediate front of it all, it had chips, Oreos, soda, etc.  HA!  So what I read was, "Get in gear!! Buuuut buy all this bad crap for yourself first and binge. YOLO!"

Thought it was kinda funny so I had to share.

Best of...

Tonight, Wolfgang and I watched "Best of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," aaaand it was totally worth it, we laughed. a lot.

In the show Jimmy mentioned how he (paraphrasing) "can't keep it together when he acts with Will Ferrell," which reminded me of what?

The "more cowbell!" skit!  And it just so happens to be, I have the SNL "The best of Will Ferrell" dvd, which I haven't watched in years. So after watching Jimmy being a genius, we watched the cowbell skit, and also the spartans skit.

And Wolfgang laughed.

I knew I married the right guy.


By the way, tonight has inspired me to write a blog post of "things I love about Jimmy Fallon."
