USE ONE ACCOUNT FOR MULTIPLE WEBSITES
You can install the Chaport chat widget on as many websites as you need on any plan, including the Free plan. Manage all your live chats in a single Chaport app. The website from which a chat originates is shown in the Visitor Info section. MANAGING THE ACCOUNT
You can assign roles to your operators and specify their permissions. An operator can have one of two roles:
- Operator — receives live chats, sees other operators’ chats, and views reports.
- Administrator — has all Operator permissions plus access to account settings (customizing the widget, adding operators, etc.).
The user who first registers a Chaport account automatically becomes the Administrator and Account Owner. This user cannot be deleted, and their role always remains the same. The account owner can choose a pricing plan and manage billing.

Installation
Method #1. Using the plugin search form
- Go to the admin panel of your WordPress website and go to “Plugins -> Add New”.
- In the search field, type in “chaport” and press Enter on your keyboard.
- Find the Chaport Live Chat plugin in the list of search results and click on “Install now”.
- When the plugin is installed, activate it by clicking on the “Activate Plugin” link.
- Click on “Settings” and configure the plugin (see below).
Method #2. Uploading the chaport.zip archive via admin panel
- Click on the “Download” button on this page to get a chaport.zip archive.
- Go to the admin panel of your WordPress website and go to “Plugins -> Add New”.
- Click on “Upload Plugin”.
- Click on “Choose File” and select the chaport.zip archive.
- Click on “Install Now”.
- When the plugin is uploaded, activate it by clicking on the “Activate Plugin” link.

Method #3. Manual installation

Configuration
Method #1. Using the app ID
- Go to chaport.com and register your account.
- Go to “Settings -> Installation Code” and click on “Copy App ID”.
- In the plugin settings of your WordPress website, paste the copied app ID into the App ID field.
- Click on “Save Settings”.
- Open your website and make sure the chat icon is displayed in the lower right corner.
Method #2. Using the installation code
Choose this method if you are going to use Chaport JavaScript API.
1. Go to chaport.com and register your account.
2. Go to “Settings -> Installation Code” and click on “Copy Installation Code”.
3. In the plugin settings of your WordPress website, paste the copied installation code into the Installation Code field.
4. Click on “Save Settings”.
5. Open your website and make sure the chat icon is displayed in the lower right corner.
