Hi, I recently moved https://thestandard.org.nz from a self-hosted box to a cloud provider before moving cities. On the way through I shifted the domain to https://thestandard.nz, with the usual redirects. Got everything to work except the Jetpack plugin/subscription, which came through without any stats for the decade+ site. The site is multi-site, and these domains are the primary.

How do I get the stats from the .org.nz site moved to the .nz site?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @lprent

I see that you’ve migrated your site and changed domains, which has caused Jetpack to experience an “Identity Crisis.” This happens when Jetpack gets confused about which site is the correct one after migrations or domain changes.

You can learn more about that here: https://jetpack.com/support/safe-mode/#identity-crisis-explained

When this occurs, your historical stats appear to be missing, but the data isn’t actually lost. It just needs to be reconnected to the correct site. To move forward, please reach out to us via this [Contact Form]

Important: When you reach out, please include the link to this forum thread and make sure to log in to your WordPress.com account or the email address you used to connect Jetpack.
