• Since years I used the local engine, which did it job very well. Now because of “cloud engine does the job very faster and optimized your website” I switched if it will do it better. But now. Cloud stops after 3 hours because of a limitation. So I never get my site initial scanned. It does not start again from where it stopped. I hope I will get all my excludes if I switch back zu the local engine.

    Hello @dknut

Hope you’re having a good day.

I’m sorry to hear you haven’t had a good experience with the cloud version.

I will bring your feedback to our Broken Link Checker team’s attention for review.

We are actively working on improving the plugin and I hope we can reduce the limits and allow the plugin to resume the scan.

You can always switch between Local and Cloud version; your settings will be preserved.

    Kind Regards,
    Amin

Thank you, @wpmudev-support2, for your info and forward. Good to know that switching between both versions is possible without losts. So I will try it again in some month. Results for now was also: Even if I edit, ignore or delete the false links, it will be reported again as false links in cloude version. Nothing happens with the corrections. local version is much better.

    Kind regards,

    dknut

    Hello @dknut,

Thank you for letting us know. We could not replicate the same issue when scanning our lab sites so far.

Would it be possible for you to create a topic here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/broken-link-checker/#new-topic-0?

I hope we can identify the root cause of the issue after reviewing all the details with your help.

    Best Regards,
    Dmytro
