I’ve installed this plugin on two different websites and both aren’t receiving the email with the magic link. I’m using Divi.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @alittlebitabout,

Magic Login relies on WordPress’ built-in email sending functionality. Could you check if other WordPress emails (like password reset or new user notifications) are reaching your inbox? That helps confirm if the issue is with general email delivery rather than the plugin itself.

    Thanks!

    Hi Mustafa,

Yes, the password reset worked on one of the websites but not the other.

Your website says ‘Download the most recent version of the plugin from your account page and upload it to your WordPress website and then activate it.’

I can’t log in to see my account and activate the plugin as I don’t have an account, or is this only for paid subscribers.

I really want to purchase your plugin but without seeing it work I can’t.

    Thanks,

    Hi @alittlebitabout,

Yes, the password reset worked on one of the websites but not the other.

Could you enable ajax option from settings and see if it makes any difference?

I can’t log in to see my account and activate the plugin as I don’t have an account, or is this only for paid subscribers.

It’s for PRO version of the plugin, you don’t need an account since free version is available here.

    Hi,

    It already was activated.

Alright, could you send the URL of the page you added magic login (I assume you are using shortcode with Divi) via support[at]handyplugins.co?

Yes, the password reset worked on one of the websites but not the other.

Could you install https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/ on the site where it worked and check if the reset email appears in the logs? Also, have you had a chance to check your spam or junk folder?

Installed the plugin and then reset password and it appeared in the log.

    Yes, using shortcode with Divi

And yes, I’ve checked spam/junk folders

Please try logging in here: https://indigoone.co.uk/wp-login.php?action=magic_login

The URL you shared appears to be incorrect (it returns a 404). Could you send the exact page URL where you placed the shortcode?

Sorry. It was meant to be https://indigoone.co.uk/wp-admin

I clicked on your link and entered my email address and still nothing in my email.

Since the test email was delivered to my address successfully, I’m marking this thread as resolved. The root cause of the issue appears to be related to the email address.
