• Hi Team,

    We are receiving following error while sending email from WordPress,

    SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. Failed to connect to server

    SMTP server error: Failed to connect to server SMTP code: 110 Additional SMTP info: Connection timed out

    Please suggest

  • Hi @iterforge,

    The above is more specific to the SMTP plugin rather than WordPress. It would point more specifically to SMTP configuration or your host blocking outbound SMTP ports.

    You’ll have to ensure the current SMTP settings configured are correct ie SMTP Host, Port, Encryption, username & password.

    If you can confirm the above is correct then checking with the Hosting provider would be helpful too.

    Hi @iterforge sorry for the inconvenience you’re experiencing. Quick question, was email delivery working initially then suddenly stopped or are you configuring SMTP on WordPress for the first time?

    As @wpmudevsupport11 stated, check the SMTP configuration settings and if they are indeed correct, contact your hosting provider.
