Fatal Error on Product pages

    Hi there,
    I was keen on trying this plugin but unfortunately it breaks the product pages with a fatal error:

    Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_sku() on string in
    /wp-content/plugins/tracktastic/includes/class-matomo.php:12

    Server: Apache/2.4.58 (Ubuntu)
    MySQL: 8.0.41
    PHP: 8.3.6
    WordPress: 6.8.1
    WooCommerce 9.8.4

    I’m sorry for my very late reply — unfortunately, I didn’t receive any notification.

    Regarding your issue, had you previously set up a Matomo tracking script?

    Indeed, it’s necessary to implement the basic tracking script before installing and activating Tracktastic (as described in the FAQ).

    Hi,
    I encounter the exact same issue
    PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_sku() on string

    “Matomo WordPress plugin is installed, activated and track visits already.
    Matomo WordPress plugin is installed, activated and track visits already.
    I’m using the “auto” tracking method in Matomo settings (from wordpress back-office).
    I also tried to switch to “Manual” mode, uninstalled tracktastic, installed it again = Still get the fatal error.
