Hi Mariekm,
Thanks for contacting us.
Sorry to hear you are having issues with this. Thanks for sending a link to your site.
I noticed when I press ctrl + shift + J while on your site and attempt to subscribe to your optin, I am getting some alerts in the console. You can take a look at this yourself.
This could be caused by a few different things conflicting on your site.
To search for a conflict on your site, kindly :
Deactivate all plugins, except the one experiencing issues.
See if the issue persists:
If so, your issue is not caused by conflict with a plugin.
If the issue is gone, one of the deactivated plugins was causing a conflict. You need to find which.
Reactivate your plugins one at a time, and check after each to see if the issue returns. When it does, you will have found the plugin conflict.
If a plugin conflict is not found, check the theme next. Revert to a default WordPress theme like ‘Twenty Twenty’.
If the issue is gone, you have a theme conflict.
If not, the issue is not caused by your theme, or a plugin.
Let us know how this goes.
All the best.
Could it be something to do with the GDPR box being missing? Not sure if Mailchimp can block stuff if it is not compliant?
I’ll check the other things, thank you.
found it, it was the supsystic-price-table
Hi Mariekm,
Thanks for getting back to me with that information.
Just to clarify, sometimes something like GDPR or double opt-in can cause an issue but usually, it presents in a way that the user can still add their details to the opt-in but they will then get a message saying something like “Failed to add user” when clicked. More of a procedural issue than a software issue.
We also have a free pricing table plugin you might be interested in perhaps. Easy Pricing Table
Let us know if you need any further assistance with this.
All the best.

Hi Mariekm,
I am going to mark this as “resolved” but if you have any more issues, feel free to reach out to us again.
All the best.
There seems to be an issue again. I have not switched the other plugin on again but the form has issues submitting. Is this something to do with Mailchimp and the settings there or is that from your plugin.
Button says: x couldn’t verify submission – try reloading
It seems there are issues all the time, do I need different plugin?
Thank you
Hi Mariekm,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Sorry to hear this is giving you trouble.
Do you have any optimization of caching plugins installed on your website? Sometimes these will cause a conflict.
Failing that, try resetting or get a new API key through MailChimp, and reconnecting your forms. Usually that does the trick.
Let us know how it goes.
All the best.
