    Hello,

My wordpress is self hosted but my host does not support Let’sEncrypt within cPanel so I was going to you this plug-in to install one.

But during setup of the plug-in I lost access to my WPadmin with 404 errors, so I accessed the plug-in folder on the server and renamed the ssl one and it disabled itself and I got back in.

So currently I’m using a self signed SSL I created in cPanel, so what is the proper process to remove that and then restart the plug-in setup to install one from this plug-in?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

for now I purchased a one year ssl from my host, but would like to know how use this plugin and should I re-enable it.

Do I delete it and reinstall, or is just activating it again ok

What resets the settings from my first failed attempt to start over?

    Hello Leroy,

Now that you’ve purchased a one-year SSL certificate from your host, your site has a valid SSL certificate. The only step left in WordPress is to click Activate SSL in the plugin dashboard.

The plugin will then enforce SSL on the WordPress side, ensuring your site is only accessible over HTTPS.

    Kind regards, Mark
