    I’m giving this 3 stars. I hope it’s fair.

    I like the plugin. It functions well. It’s simple and it works.

    The free version of the plugin is cut down to bare minimum functionality, which is perfectly fine. That’s understandable, and I don’t have any issue with that.

    However, the fact that I can’t even edit text of the email that comes through with the magic link is quite ‘unnecessary’ in my opnion.

    Replaced with a different plugin, unfortunately.

    Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback! I totally understand your point. The reason the email customization isn’t included in the free version is that once you enable that kind of flexibility, it also introduces a lot of support questions related to email templating. That’s why I intentionally made it a Pro feature — to keep the free version simple and maintenance-friendly.

    That said, it’s still possible to customize the email text using filters if you’re comfortable adding a few lines of code. Also, when the plugin was first released, some of the current features didn’t even exist, so there needed to be a clear difference between free and Pro versions.

    I know it might feel a bit restricted overall, but maintaining software and providing support takes time and effort. I really appreciate your understanding and honest feedback.
