    Hi Elliott,

We’ve noticed a recurring issue on a few sites where the captcha displays the note “checkbox to verify you are human” but no checkbox actually appears. This has been observed on both WooCommerce and login pages.

Do you have any recommended settings that tend to be the most reliable? For example:

    • In Cloudflare, would you suggest using managed or invisible mode?
    • Should the appearance mode be set to always or interactive?
    • Is it better to have JS defer enabled or disabled?

Our priority is ensuring that the plugin and Cloudflare Turnstile don’t introduce usability issues, even if that means we aren’t blocking every single attempt 100% of the time.

Any guidance you can provide would be much appreciated, thanks for all your hard work everyday on this plugin.

  • Hi,

The best settings to use a likely the default ones that are set when activating the plugin.

I would suggest using “Managed” mode when generating the keys, and “appearance mode” as “always” for better reliability in most cases.

JS defer depends, but having it enabled is best for performance, assuming it works fine when enabled.
