I deleted this plugin from WP, but it still is running scripts. What is the solution for this?

Since I deleted this plugin, it has caused so much woe. My recent posts widget has stopped showing thumbnails in the incognito mode. And as i can see in the inspect mode, speed booster is still running lazy loads for these images.

I’m sorry you had trouble @shreyaam! Speed Booster Pack (like most performance optimization plugins) needs meticulous configuration but there are also parts incompatible with some setups. We’re working on a major update which would resolve a lot of conflicts.

In response to your question about lazy load keeping working: Some hosting companies employ their own server-level caching mechanisms that (sometimes) need manual flushing. Since all WordPress plugins stop working when they’re deactivated, I can confidently say that there has to be a separate caching layer and when you flush it, your issue will be fixed.

    Hi @optimocha
I manually flushed cache from my hosting, but the problem has not got resolved. What can I do stop the script from running?

@shreyaam do you have another performance optimization plugin?

I do not have any till I had Speed Boost. I have now installed one.

So, what is the resolution of this?

In my optimization plugin, lazyloading is off; so the issue is caused by Speed Booster only.

Like I said, @shreyaam, WordPress plugins stop working when they’re deactivated, so there has to be a separate caching layer. If you have Cloudflare or Sucuri as a proxy server, that could also cause this issue.

Maybe to trigger a cache flush, you can delete the widget and add it again.

None of it has worked @optimocha . I do not have any proxy server. I am stuck with this.

@shreyaam I really wish I could be more helpful but I’m not allowed to ask for credentials:

Maybe I can help without logging in to wp-admin, can you share the homepage address of your website?
