–I have an idea that will make it easy for everyone however. I can create a 4th type of Limit call “Tokcoin” (it sounds like token and coin). You will be able to set a certain number of token for each type of Token/Model, Image, etc.

I have thought about it for a long time, and I still think that even if you use the new method mentioned above, the calculation of the “Limits” function in your “Statistics” using the type of the token is still wrong.
When generating an image, only one token is consumed, which is wrong. This will make the “Limits” function flawed, unless you delete the Tokens type, leaving only Dollars and Queries.
However, if you can do this: the number of tokens consumed to generate images can vary according to the selected model, then this “Limits” function is correct and perfect.Looking forward to hearing from you.

–If you want to show the amount of JohnCoins your customer has, I can create a new shortcode. I will give the % amount left, and based on that, you can calculate the JohnCoins. It’s super easy. For example, if the customer has 50% left, you would return 0.5 * 1,000 (since the user is on the 1,000 JohnCoins account).

I can name it “tokens”, and set it to 1000 tokens equal to $0.02, everything will work well I think.

You can see that:
Image models : $0.020 / image
Davinci : $0.0200 / 1K tokens
So if I generate an image, OpenAI will charge me $0.020. to Davinci, it should consume 1000 tokens. but you only count 1 token, I think what you count is really not true. I don’t know why you can count 1 token but not 1000 tokens according to the price of OpenAI.
That’s a very simple solution ,we don’t need to make it too complex.
Just an advise.
If we don’t tell users the exact consume cost,but only show them the status bar,I think it will not be reliable.
