Sparrow Song
Sweet Sparrow Song is a friend of Micah’s and one of the most precious little girls that I know. Sparrow and her family are near and dear to our hearts and family. Sparrow was born with a heart defect and has had two heart surgeries so far. Tomorrow is her third and final surgery. Here is a video to fill you on more details.

*Age-appropriate movies (DVD’s)
*Books & puzzles – the girl LOVES books and puzzles! *Art & Education – paper, pens, colors, crayons and anything that would assist her in learning how to write her letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc… She is VERY interested in learning and naturally with me being a teacher, I’d rather stoke that fire than let her watch 5 Disney movies a day.
*Anything with or having to do kitties – she’s obsessed. Hello Kitty, stuffed kitties, cats, kittens, lions, tigers, she loves them all. She sings Katy Perry’s “Roar” everyday.
*Sparrow has a Leapster Explorer and a Leapster Tag – games and books for both of these devices would be a HUGE help! They are educational and entertaining.
*Sparrow also loves Squinkies – they’re tiny figurines that she collects.
*Flowers, balloons, cards, accessories, and treats

Micah – My precious girl turned 3 today, but this is from her princess party on Sunday at the park in our neighborhood. She was having so much fun and actually stopped to smile for a picture!
Asher – Poor Ash on the other hand only took about an hour nap all day and was exhausted by the end of the party. ha

Today was a lazy day around the house. Little man has had a fever so we just stayed home and played all morning. Asher even got his first tattoo. He loves to wear his hat all around and has recently been stealing Micah’s sunglasses too. The kid loves accessories! Ha.

Sweet Summer Days
It makes me so sad but it seems that summer is officially coming to a close. Luckily it is still plenty warm to enjoy playing outside for a few more weeks. Charlotte just finished building an amazing new park right in the middle of downtown. It’s got a few huge grassy areas, rocks to climb on, a fountain to splash in and a great view of the city. The kids love it! We’ve gone four times in the last week. I’m really loving these last weeks of warmth and late nights, so we’ve been trying to fit in all the outdoor time we can. We’ve been walking to grab dinner and popsicles every weekend and going to the greenway and park as much as possible. Summer really is the best.
