I thought this would be a quick little puzzle.

Ummmm….. no. It doesn’t have many pieces, but look how tiny they are!

This has been me the last month.

Here are my top nine posts for the year on Instagram.

Have a great day!

I’ve decided to call this four patch quilt, Second Summit. You may recall the little Summit Stitches quilt I recently finished from Lori’s Humble Quilts QAL. You can check it out here.

That little quilt finished at 34” square. This one finished at 69” square. I did the borders differently on this one. I had just enough of this toile I purchased in France years ago for the corners.

I rushed the binding. At some point, I will redo it by hand.

The backing is actually a light blue.

I used my new cross hatch groovy boards for the quilting and I’m quite pleased! The quality is good and it was easier to line up the rows than I expected.

I can live with this.

And here it is! I just might have to keep this one.

And just for fun…..

Summit Stitches and Second Summit shown together.

These four patches were all made leader/ender fashion. This is my fave finish since my last favorite. 😂
Have a great day!

I pray that all my dear readers would feel the depth of God’s love for them this Christmas.
My Christmas decorating has gotten simpler over the years.

I do love sitting in my chair to read and drink coffee in the morning with the tree lights.

I made the green and red quilt several years ago. I intended it to be a Christmas quilt, but this is the first time I could actually find it at Christmas!

When I found that, I came across the little one I put on the coffee table.

Of course, Mister Wonderful always does a great job on the outside.

Lastly, here is a link to a powerful song shared in our Christmas service this year.
Merry Christmas Eve!
My newest grand dogs needed stockings. I just buy them at the dollar store and embroider their names. You can see that my embroidery skills are limited.

We bought pjs for the five local grand dogs and our two at Aldis. We couldn’t get the right sizes so I ended up doing alterations.

Here is Gracie trying hers on.

Have a great day.
As soon as I took my four patch off the frame, I loaded this one up.

This is the pantograph I’m planning to use.

I even found enough binding on hand for it!

Have a great day!
I ordered some new pattern boards as my Black Friday splurge this year. They are from a company that I have never ordered from before, Groovy Patterns. No affiliation. This is what I bought.

I choose patterns that I think would be difficult to do well with a pantograph.
I’m curious to see how well I can get this cross hatch set lined up.

I’ll know soon. Have a good day.
My local quilting group held their annual Christmas party recently. They do a Chinese gift exchange. Each person brings a handmade gift. I got this adorable mushroom!

The workmanship is amazing.

I have no idea how this was done.

My pretty girl, Winslow.

Another puzzle.

It lost a few pieces courtesy of this little menace. Good thing she is cute.

A town near us has a tumbleweed tree for Christmas. Only in Arizona!

And one more puzzle.

Have a great day!
My little doll quilt is done and I love how it looks with this pretty little toy sewing machine.

I quilted this with a walking foot on my domestic machine. I’m not thrilled with how that turned out, but it will do. The original antique inspiration quilt was machine quilted also.

You can see why on the back. Those darn puckers!

The backing and binding fabrics are reproductions, but all the scraps used in the top are vintage.

Ta daaa! It finished at 12 by 16 inches.

And here is the inspiration quilt.

Have a great day!
Red and white quilts always feel like winter/Christmas to me. So I’m sharing some of the many I’ve made over the years. Enjoy!

This next one is an antique that I purchased. I love it!

Have a great day
