Tallinn International Kindergarten (TIKi) welcomes both international and local preschoolers to embark on their English-language learning journey. IB - Primary Years Programme
Tallinn International Kindergarten is a candidate school* for the PYP. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education – that we believe is important for our students.
* Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Our History
Tallinn International Kindergarten was established in 1997 as the International English Kindergarten. In 2002, we adopted our current name, reflecting our diverse and inclusive learning community.
From 1997 to 2007, the kindergarten operated in various rented premises. In 2007, we moved into our own dedicated house in the center of Tallinn, significantly enhancing the learning environment and providing a stable, nurturing space for children to grow.
