As 2025 is coming to an end, we can look back on the past month with gratitude, knowing what our team has done to give back and to have some fun ourselves. 🎉 The holiday season kicked off with our annual charity cake sale. 🧁  Some of our colleagues baked awesome cakes that the rest of our colleagues bought up, then donated all the earnings for charity. This year, it went to the forest rescue foundation, as decided by an internal vote. The best cake award was given to Szabolcs Finta, not just for the delicious Aromatic Opera Cake, but also for the cool chemistry and Chemaxon-related markings that took it to the next level. Our team also participated in "Kicsi Pakk" campaign, each participant sent a gift 🎁 for a child in a children's home based on their wishlist. Again, we are proud to say that our colleagues made quite an effort, making the holidays that much brighter for disadvantaged children. Thank you Tímea Fodor for organizing it, to the entire HR team for delivering the gifts. 🎤 Speaker Spotlight: David Lowis & Adrian Stevens Join David Lowis, Executive Director of Scientific Informatics at Certara and Adrian Stevens, Chief Product Officer at Chemaxon, for a joint presentation that bridges two leading informatics platforms. 🎤 Speaker Spotlight: Adrian Stevens  Meet Adrian Stevens, Chief Product Officer at Chemaxon. On the first day of the event, our Chief Product Officer, Adrian will present “From Small Molecules to Sequences: Expanding the Informatics Landscape”, where he’ll explore how Chemaxon is evolving its informatics capabilities to support emerging therapeutic modalities. His talk will highlight the challenges and opportunities in bridging chemistry and biology, and how unified tools can empower researchers in the next generation of drug discovery. With a PhD in Computational Chemistry from the University of Portsmouth, Adrian began his career as a computational chemist at BioFocus PLC, contributing to drug design across oncology, metabolic diseases, autoimmune conditions, and pain therapeutics. He specialized in small molecule drugs targeting protein kinases and GPCRs, earning multiple publications and patents.
