After graduating high school in 1979, Sheila landed a job at Southern University at just 17. Life moved forward, but her dream of higher education never faded. Fast forward 40 years: She earned three associate degrees from Wiley University, then a Master’s. And today? She’s working toward a doctorate in business at Liberty University. Arrie Simpson, MBA, LCPC, LPC, CSAT, BSP is doing it all—and doing it with purpose. She’s a mom, a Ph.D. student in Counselor Education at Hampton University, and the founder of a mental health nonprofit. Her mission?
