Code of Conduct
Last updated on: 19 September, 2025
1) We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any venue, including lectures. Event participants who violate these rules may be excluded from the event without refund at the discretion of the organizers.
2) Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual imagery in public spaces, intentional intimidation, stalking, following, harassment of photography or recording, persistent interruption of conversations or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwanted sexual attention. Participants who are asked to stop harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
3) Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualized images, activities or other material. Any booth personnel (including volunteers) should not use sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes or otherwise create a sexualized environment. If a participant is harassing, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning and/or expulsion from the event without refund.
4) We only work with people and companies who, like us, believe with absolute conviction in the free and democratic basic order and respect the dignity of all people. By accepting our Code of Conduct, they ensure that they share our values and do not work with people or companies that degrade other people or promote the destabilization of our democratic system. The AfD and Die Heimat (NPD) parties should be mentioned here in particular. Event participants will be sanctioned and/or excluded from the event without refund.
5) If you are being harassed or notice that someone else is being harassed, contact one of our organizers immediately. Organizers can be recognized by their special badges and clothing. Event staff will be happy to assist attendees in contacting hotel / venue security or local law enforcement, providing escorts, or otherwise helping harassed individuals feel safe for the duration of the event. They are important to us.
We expect participants to comply with these rules at all venues.
