Very few app builders mention multi-tenancy on their websites or in their documentation. DrapCode not only talks about it in depth, but it’s also one of the first things they ask when setting up a project. I discovered DrapCode yesterday, and today I’ve felt a sense of relief I haven’t felt in over a year—stressing about how to structure my database to support multi-tenancy for the SaaS app I’m building.
I’ve never built a SaaS app before, especially not one with multi-tenancy, so DrapCode addressing that up front is huge.
The only question I have now is about the scaling limits of the built-in database. I was planning to use Xano for the backend, but I think I’d lose the benefits of DrapCode’s multi-tenancy plugin. So, I’ll likely stick with DrapCode’s native database, which is even better for building. I’m just curious how many tenants it can handle before adjustments are needed.
I really hope DrapCode is here to stay—I don’t know how I haven’t come across it sooner.
