Trying out Sveltia CMS for the first time. Hope I didn't break anything!

The year is 2024 and I just burned a CD in Windows Media Player.

I made a goal earlier this year to visit all the state parks in Maryland (an easy choice since I live there). It's not a this-year type of goal, but more of an eventually goal. Last weekend I visited my fourth of the year, Gambrill State Park: https://stateparks.troyv.dev/md/gambrill-state-park/. It was the most difficult trail so far, but beautiful.

Nickelback is fine, actually! I listened to every one of their albums these last few weeks and even listened to a couple of them on repeat. This is more than I can say for some bands I try this experiment with. Check out my full write up at https://www.thisisa.band/nickelback/.

I'm two albums into my listening-to-every-Nickelback-album journey. It's a long road ahead of me, but I left that first album thinking "yeah, all our first albums sounded like that."

I got too excited making a CLI for writing new notes on my site and accidentally left the date of the post in the content. Oops!

2024-05-23 Heard this song the other day and liked it so much I had to make a playlist dedicated to more songs just like it. https://album.link/i/1584988431

The title speaks for itself, doesn't it?

Do I hear them? Yes. Do I listen to them? Not really.

I revisited Aura Log and turned it into a site generator.

I got overwhelmed by build steps and decided to fetch my webmentions through a web component.

A collection of thoughts on why I miss physical media.
- Front Royal: A punk/alternative/indie/punkternatindie band. If that sounds like your thing, check out our Bandcamp or visit our website.
- troyalllowercase: My solo project where I do whatever I want. It's got punk, it's got emo, it's sometimes instrumental. If you like Front Royal, you'll also like this. Listen below, check out my Bandcamp, or find me on your streaming service of choice (fuck Spotify).

Want to see my music collection? Or my scrobble history?
Yeah yeah yeah, I have a GitHub profile, but you really should look at my sourcehut account for git and mercurial repositories.
I've published some packages to npm. These are the ones
I haven't deprecated.
