You may submit to at most one xAI specific Track. The Tracks for 2025 are

Grok Voice

Integrate our conversational voice api into different use cases beyond the Grok app’s voice mode.

Grok Recruiter

Create production-grade tools that identify, evaluate, and engage engineering and research talent using Grok models. Projects may focus on sourcing (GitHub, X, arXiv, linkedin, etc.), personalized outreach sequencing, technical assessment generation, interview scheduling, reference checking, or full-cycle candidate relationship management. Strong submissions typically demonstrate measurable precision/recall against real hiring benchmarks.

Grok Ads Studio

The best ads today are personalized, context-aware, and delivered at the exact moment of intent. Grok’s unique strengths — real-time X data, deep reasoning, humor, multimodal output, and conversational memory — make it the perfect platform to build the next generation of advertising tools.  

This track is deliberately broad: you can build full-stack ad creators (scripts → avatars → video → captions), predictive optimization engines, real-time bidding agents, or an “ad brain” that lives inside Grok chats and naturally surfaces sponsored solutions without breaking user trust. Winning projects will clearly demonstrate how their system would increase traffic, conversions, or both in the real world.

Grok Jarvis

Develop assistants that preserve long-term memory, evolve personality dynamically, and serve as assistants, friends, coaches, confidants, creative partners, or domain experts. Emphasis is on memory architecture, personality consistency, multi-modal interactions, and user retention rather than one-off interactions.

Grok x X API

This track is exclusively for projects that make non-trivial use of the official X API in combination with Grok models. All submissions must demonstrate authenticated, rate-limit-aware integration with the real X API endpoints — no mock data.

Grok Code

This track centers on creating production-ready coding assistants and IDE plugins powered by Grok Code Fast 1, xAI's lightweight model optimized for agentic coding tasks like debugging, refactoring, zero-to-one project scaffolding, and tool orchestration (e.g., grep, terminal, file editing). Projects should demonstrate seamless integration with development environments (VS Code, Cursor, JetBrains) and handle real-world workflows such as multi-file edits, test generation, or autonomous code migration. Emphasis is on low-latency inference, cache-aware prompting, and measurable improvements in developer productivity.

Grokipedia

This track focuses on enhancing GrokiPedia, xAI's open-source encyclopedia (launched October 2025) that generates and forks articles via Grok models to create a comprehensive, verifiable knowledge base. Projects should address core challenges like source diversification, real-time fact-checking, bias detection, collaborative editing workflows, or automated article expansion using the xAI API. Submissions must prioritize transparency (e.g., traceable citations) and scalability for 1M+ articles, while integrating with GrokiPedia's submission system for user-suggested edits.
