Concept of Socom confrontation

A professor once told me that to understand color, one must first understand lighting. So before I graduated from high school all I’ve ever really done were black and white pencil sketches. It helped me develop my hand drawing skill but more importantly it helped me get a better understanding of how light works.
In truce, my real passion lies with oil painting. Back when I was young I got quite a few awards for my paintings in various exhibitions. But now a day my busy schedule simply won’t allow me to paint as much as I want to.

Lately watercolor has become an interest for me. I found that it costs much less and takes fewer time to do. Doing watercolor for me is both exciting and relaxing.
I am also a cartoonist. I have worked in the cartoon animation industry for seven years. In those times, I had been an animator, a storyboard artist and an art director. I had designed quite a few characters and backgrounds for many animation projects. In Vancouver alone, I used been working for companies like AKA cartoon; Gordon Stanfield Animation; Global Mechanic; Bardel Entertainment etc.
These days most of my works are concept art (digital) for video game and other entertainment industry. I have done this kind of work for Relic Entertainment; Stage 3 Media; Slant Six Games, Smoking Gun Interactive and United Front Games. You can see my character designs and environment designs from this Blog.
So, that’s me, take look around and let me know what you think.
