Really addicted to the Tae Wang Sa Shin ki. I like the tomboy girl, Suchini, in the show.
She looks so different in her before life, very pretty. Her before life name was Sayo.
And another character I enjoy watching is the bad guy in the show coz he always links 2-3 sentences together and finish it within one breath. Very funny the way he continuously lowers his voice to finish the long sentence.

It's 27 March today. I'm supposed to write a new post instead of editing it here. But, the post will look too short if I just add this section to a new post. So I just add here la. Hehe.
I've known my Korean name more than a year ago. Got it by google-ing my Chinese name's character one by one.
So I proudly announce my Korean name here, just for fun! Hehehe...
강영희
It's pronounced as Kang Yeong Hee. Love this name. If pronounced faster it can be yeongee I think. Hehe.. My name is very suitable to be converted to Korean. Very Korean-like. Hehe..
Sigh.. Really hope I can save enough money to learn Korean language.
Today very bersemangat. Hehe.. Drove all the way to FRIM early morning just for a short hike. 15 mins up the hill and another 5 or 7 mins down the hill and then walked all the way back to WY's house which took us about 50 mins. Actually went there not for training, it's more for the fresh air. I miss jungle air too much already. Can't stand the air quality here near my house. Most people cannot tell the difference but I feel the air here is a bit pungent, uneasy for the throat and nostril.
Although it was a short hike (not even a hike coz it doesn't seem like a hill to me), I got to breathe the fresh air and I was able to sweat quite a lot (I didn't drink much water also... dun understand why can sweat that much). Muscles not much pain but both ankles felt a bit as if it's overworked during the last 50 mins walk. It was just flat ground. I dun really understand why the ankles will feel pain. Hmmm.. But now ok pula. So should be ok la..
The funny thing is. I didn't bring my backpack this time coz I was thinking it was a short hike so backpack is kinda unnecessary. So I brought my handbag which I stuffed my towel and water bottle. When I parked my car, got down the car and jumped onto WY's mum's car only I realized I brought along the handbag.
WY's mum only dropped us off. So I didn't leave my handbag in her car. So, all the way power-walking and hiking up the hill I was carrying this handbag in my hands. I didn't carry it around my arms la. Coz I duwan to look like I'm going shopping in a jungle. But, I think I saw people glancing at my handbag when I was hiking. Argh.. So malu!!
---------
Yesterday since I have no car to go lepak, I started watching 태왕사신기 Tae wang sa shin ki 太王四神记 casted by Bae Yong Jun.
The first episode was boring and slow. One eye contact can cast for 1-2 minutes one. But the second episode it started to become exciting.
Especially during the tomboy-ish girl scenes, I couldn't stop laughing. And young actor, Yoo SeongHo, who casted as the young version of the Bae Yong Jun's character is really good in acting. He's serious when he needs to be serious and playful when he needs to be. Those facial expression is like those of experienced old actors.
I'm the kind of person who will continuously listen to a song I like for one whole day until I'm bored with it. Hehe.
Today I have this urge to continuously listen to this song: 南拳媽媽 -下雨天. I've listened to it for 6 times in a row for one hour since I woke up in the morning. Haha..
----------
I'm car-less now. Woke at 9am to send my car for welding mudguard and spray painting. Wanted to go back to sleep after I'm home but went online and had my breakfast instead. Hmm.. Feel like going back to sleep now.
I'm supposed to be hiking at the Gap-Gunung Hulu Semangkok by now with MOTH (Malaysia Outdoor Trekking and Hiking) people. =( Too bad had to FFK them coz I have to send my car to repair. The mountain has a cool name - The Gap. It's situated near Fraser Hill at Raub, Pahang, 1183m in height. Hope can go there in the future to see whether the mountain is beautiful.
----------
Woke up with right arm extensor and flexor (I found on the net, not sure whether it's correct) pain this morning. Recall back what I had done to have overworked my arm. No wonder. I had been 'exercising' my arm by pipetting yesterday from 10am to 5.30pm non-stop.
Hohoho! Finally I have the guts to put up the photos of my products! I mean my cooking. I cook my dinner lately since January. Every night and kept some for lunch. Save quite a lot but spent most of the money on the damn car. Pardon my language coz I really hate my driving skills. lol.
Let's start from those not so appealing from the appearance first (but taste good one le). Hehe..
ABC soup? Soup or not soup it's my all time favourite!
Steamed brinjal with sesame oil. I love this dish!
Bean sprouts with fish balls. A simulation of those of mixed rice stalls outside by using preserved szechuan pickle (榨菜) to make it tastes salty.
French beans, okra and carrot
Amaranth with garlics. Audrey's favourite.
Fried rice (taken when I was half way eating it. Haha). I didn't use rice that are kept overnight. I cook the rice with lesser amount of water so it's harder and ideal for cooking fried rice.
Fried chicken! Just fried this today. The oil 'jumped' around everywhere that I had to mop the floor after cooking. But it was tasty! The soy sauce and sugar that marinated the drumsticks still coated its surface giving it a sweet taste =)
Some of the food which are nice and appealing are not shown here coz whenever I done with cooking I'm too hungry to take the photos. Plus, when I noticed that I haven't take the photos of them I've already finished eating them. Hehe..

This song has been playing in my mind recently. Miss it very much.
Was laughing my ass off when watching this video. Very creative work. And I think this free hand artist is really good. Smooth lines, lively characters. Bravo!

Went to Gunung Angsi in Seremban last Sunday. Angsi is 825m in height.
After some research online, I have collected some figures for the KK trip. We are supposed to start hike from Timpohon gate which is 1866.4m from sea level. Then hike until resthouse at Laban Rata which is 3272m from sea level. That means I need to hike 1405m to reach the resthouse, which is only about 2 times of Angsi. Minus the decreasing air pressure I think I can hike quite easily la. Summore it's not Mesilau trail which is harder. But with decreasing air pressure, I'm not sure... Need to train more on endurance!! Then after that hike another 823m (about Angsi's height??) to reach the summit - Low's peak.
OK. Back to Angsi.
It's in Hutan Lipur Ulu Bendul Seremban. Have to pay RM5 for registration fees, fill in a form with climbers details (i.e. name, handphone number and IC number)
On the way uphill saw this pipe water. Is this mineral water from the hill?
Then all the way up the hill everyone has no energy to take photo. The trail was pretty demotivating actually. Most of the trail has this very steep uphill slope and when you look up it's like a never ending road. But sometimes it has really flat grounds after the slopes where I happily jogged a bit.
Climbed up without the ropes. Muahaha..
In some cases I think climbing without holding onto ropes is safer coz when you use rope your life is solely depending on it but when you use only your hands at least you know how secure you are and your body is closer to the surface and hence when you slip you can just lie flat on the surface and so the impact is not so strong. I hope I'm making a point.
Climb on all fours. Demonstrating how a monkey climbs up the slope. Hehehe..
And then we were at the top of the hill cooking lunch. It was only some chicken soup. Not enough for a meal. Next time have to bring more solid food to cook.
Nice scenery from peak
Took group photo at the peak with timer.
Then we started descending the hill.
There are some tips of abseiling I have been practicing:
First,
First test whether the rope is safe to use. Observe the rope whether it's worn out and then apply some pressure by pulling the rope a bit to check whether the tree is stable. I was a bit over in this photo, please do not follow. Hehe..
Second,
When you've hold tight onto the rope, cross the rope so that the rope is in between the legs.
Third,
Then start abseiling. Try every step before stepping on it firmly. The surface might be slippery or it might be some loose soil.
Fourth,
When you have one last step more to land on a solid ground, do not let go of the rope just yet. You might still need it.
Last,
After you had tested that the ground is solid enough to be stepped on and had made your last step on a stable ground then you are free to let go of the rope.
Nice scenery taken at the abseiling part
After crossing river
My stamina has improved quite a lot. And the next day I dun feel any muscle pain! =D
Hope next one can be Gunung Nuang. See how first la. Nuang is insanely long and tiring and demotivating. But this means it's a good training mountain.
Warning: It's gonna be a very long ranting post. Skip the words if it's too boring. There are some interesting pictures though.
This Friday the 13 is indeed unlucky.
Case number 1:
I had a car accident again this morning when going to work.
A motorcyclist in front of me slipped and fell down at a turning slope coz it was raining. He was lying in the middle of the road. When I turned and saw the motorcycle was in between two lanes obviously blocking the way and the motorist was standing up.
I pressed hard on the brake pedal. Not only the car didn't slow down, it was moving down with even faster speed (Blame me on slow reaction in emergency situation, I was pressing the clutch when pressing the brake which I shouldn't. I should have just press the brake and let the engine die. Maybe the brake was not functioning at that time, so the car was free gear-ed). I didn't thought of pulling hand-brake (luckily I didn't coz my car would sure spin around).
So, I turned my car to the left lane coz the motorcycle was blocking the way. The tyre rim was scratching the wall of the flyover all the way until I knock onto the bumper of an MPV car (I think it's an Unser) in front of me. The car was actually stopping at the left lane because the motorcycle was right in front of the Unser. So, actually turning to left lane was a worse decision (Hey, isn't it better if I crush by an empty motorcycle than banging onto an MPV which obviously will damage my car more? Sigh....)
The car behind me who also wanted to stop but couldn't, spun around for few rounds, knocking the motorcycle to the left and stopped right at the middle of the right lane facing the opposite way, but no scratches at all! =( I should have done that. And another car almost knocked my car. (it was a turn, so nobody see what's happening in front) Luckily the car managed to make an emergency stop. After all these, the motorcycle was no longer at the middle of the road but slipped under the Unser. I had to reverse and let Unser to reverse to let free the motorcycle. When the motorcycle was freed, the motorcyclist fled before we could even notice.
Now my car lamp is broken, the bonet is crooked, the bumper is kemek-ed and the tyre rim cover is seriously scratched.
This is by far my most serious car accident. =(
But I was lucky also. Luckily the lamp and signal light are working. And the tyre rim is not broken. After that I drove to work and made it to company on time. Then only I realized that I scratched my leg during the accident. But luckily it was just a small scratch. No big deal. And luckily the Unser owner didn't ask me to pay for her car repair (coz her car no scratches at all!)
Case number 2:
Audrey wants me to write this in the blog.
My ex-house owner called up and asked me to return the apartment parking sticker and card to his new tenant. It was actually Audrey's. So I called Audrey and told her about this. When he called me I was busy at work. I didn't answer his phone twice. I dun like to talk on phone when I'm wearing my gloves. Coz after taking off the gloves to answer the phone I would have to put the glove back on and spray 70% ethanol again on my gloves. If my hands are sweaty, the rubber gloves will be wet inside and it will be very difficult to put on.
On his third call, I reluctantly answered his phone. He said his new tenant is going to move in today and it's urgent. I reasoned to him that the tenant would have the primary parking sticker and card, so it shouldn't be a problem to him moving in. But the owner insisted me to return without telling me the reason.
So, I called Audrey and asked her to return the stuff. I made a few phone calls between the owner and Aud, coz Aud couldn't leave the work and the owner insisted we return the stuff by 3pm today. The owner was really annoying today until I even forgot about my seriously damaged car. In the end Aud called up the new tenant asking him to go to Monash to collect the stuff and she was supposed to collect RM30 deposit fees from him. But the tenant didn't know that the parking sticker and card are not the primary ones and he didn't know he has to pay teh deposit fees. The primary ones are still with the owner! I bet the owner wants to keep the primary parking sticker and card to himself. Aud didn't collect the deposit fees from the tenant.
Actually the owner should have tell the tenant about the primary card and sticker. He should tell the tenant that he should pay the deposit fees to Aud. But, this owner blamed Aud that she's making fuss about it and she can just tell the tenant to pay her.
Aud is still complaining about the owner to someone in her phone. Hehe. I can hear it from my room.
Case number 3:
I wore a miniskirt to work today coz no more clean jeans. After lunch time only CY told me actually during lunch time when I was wearing socks, I ter-exposed a bit and a male colleague was coincidentally looking my way. OMG! I didn't know! Maybe he didn't see anything. Hmmm..
Case number 4:
Audrey was locked in her room when she came home. The door knob was unlocked but she just couldn't open the door. We tried to open from outside also cannot. With keys also cannot. Turn different directions from both sides still cannot. Use screw driver to ply it off but failed. Then use hammer to knock it off. It got worse. Then, we asked our neighbours for help. With force, the uncle next door and our housemate's dad managed to use hammer and screw driver to dismantle the knob piece by piece. In the end the whole knob was removed but the metal ring that stuck to the hole still held the door tight. We tried to kick open the door but failed. Then the door suddenly released itself when uncle knocked the ring loose with hammer and screw driver. Springs fell out of the rings. Those springs were the culprit.
Case number 5:
A neighbour's daughter-in-law had a car accident which involved 4 cars today as well.
Tomorrow have to go repair car. Sob~~ Luckily uncle will accompany me go get quotations.

There's a nice English song I wanna recommend. I love love love the tap dance sound at 3:00. And the acoustic guitar at 0:43 sounds good!

I did this personality test here and find it very true. Some of it were very unlike me but it had changed throughout the year. I feel this test explains my current personality and thinking well, except the line saying that I'm good in giving advice. hehe...
Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
It's quite true about down-to-earth, but I dunno whether people like me because I'm straightforward. Dun think I'm a good problem solver, coz normally I just listen to problems but I dun solve it. Hehe
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
Yea. I do admire smart people who has very strong determination. I find them very attractive. Normally I would start admiring a person after knowing him more in person. In fact guys whom I like in the past are not good-looking type. Like other girls, I like to see lengchais also, but that's only for display coz in some cases I dun have the chance to even know them deeper or in some cases I dun like their personalities. lol.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.
I tend to admire someone whom I know for long (at least more than a year) coz I got to understand him more by that time .
The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?
I'm not sure about flirting. But sometimes I do joke around with guys coz I treat everyone unisex-ly. Hehe. So maybe sometimes people might tend to receive the wrong message.
Your views on education
Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own.
After graduating from uni and started working, I started to have a change of perspective. I think the society is the best place to learn things. You learn to deal with people, not formulas and numbers.
The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
I'm still not sure about a secure job for my whole life yet. Coz I still have the vision of teaching in Cambodia rural schools. That might make a secure job too right? Except that maybe I would have to shuffle among the schools to teach?
How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.
Very true. I'll take the advice. =P
What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.
Very true indeed! Actually I can have very messy hair and even darker skin tone. But because people around me commented that my hair was too messy and my skin was getting too much suntan from hiking, I started to keep my hair in shape and apply sunscreen when I go hiking.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
No I'm not matured. lol. Reasonable, could be. Honest, very true. But I dun give good advice. Hehe. I'm still not good in analyzing situations. Still need improvement.
I came back hometown yesterday. Had a very tiring journey as usual. And as usual, I slept most of the time on the bus. When I woke up once and looked at the 24 hours digital clock in the bus. It showed 13:20. My girl friends would know I dunno how to read digital clock. I was so happy that I have one more hour to go. Coz I thought it was 3pm already. Sigh, mana tau it's actually 1.20pm. Dampened my mood a lot.
I know. That's why I said I dunno how to read digital clock. haha..
----------
Just watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button from my dad's PC.
At first the movie was boring, talking about only his stories. Then in the end when the story revealed that the daughter of the old lady in the hospital is actually his daughter. I was drawn into the movie completely. Every scene after that made me cry.
This movie talks a lot about death, too. Also, from Benjamin's point of view on life, because he had seen too many deaths, plus he was born an old man and thought that he would die anytime soon, he believes that "There's no time limit. Start whatever you want now", coz you never know when you're dying. I find this movie very inspiring. I found it has many good quotes, too. Every time I heard each one of them I felt like writing down the quotes.
Hope there's more inspiring movies like this in the future. =)
Just came back from my third endurance training (sort of): Swimming.
Very very tired now. I didn't count how many laps I swam coz too many people blocking the way or standing by the wall, so I only swam half way and turned back. I think I swam about 500 m or slightly more.
Actually I dun consider this as a proper endurance training coz normally if I wanna practice my stamina (just like how I practiced for my 300m test), I would swim non-stop 300 m or more. Last time normally I got breathless when I reached about 150m or 200m. My best stamina record was 1km non-stop. But now, around 100m I already feel breathless. Sigh.. I need more endurance training.
This weekend go back hometown I'm going to go jogging at the football field already.
Oh! Talking about going back hometown, I should start packing already! Gosh... my running shoes are still dirty with the Gunung Dato' soil. Dun care la. Just bring it back. Hehe. And oh, talking about packing, I wish I have a rucksack. =(
-----------
Talk about clumsiness, recently I'm really clumsy.
1. Yesterday I bought grocery which weighed about 10kg from Pyramid. I carried it all the way up to CP5. Although they have escalators, carrying those weights from Giant to the Orange Zone in new wing there can already break my arms. And I did look very clumsy. When I got off the car outside my house, I had to use my knee to close the car door. Dramas always happen to me.
2. Just now I almost chopped my feet coz the knife slipped off my hand and dropped right towards my feet. Luckily recently my response is very fast, I drawn away my feet before the knife dropped straight down onto my feet.
3. Last week I dropped the perfume Pei Err bought for me. Luckily the glass was very hard. It didn't break at all! Fuhhh...
4. When hiking last weekend, as usual I bang my head to some branches again. And slipped my ankle, right ankle this time. I'm gonna buy myself one more ankle stabiliser to prevent this from happening again. Sigh. That will cost me another RM40.
Maybe not enough sleep..
------------
One more recommendation on a Chinese artist-方大同. His songs are very R&B. Very relaxing. =) Although he looks nerdy but he writes good songs! Whenever I listen to his songs, I feel like I'm relaxing in a small windy hut by the beach listening to the waves...
Finally finish editing the new blog skin! I change this skin just because of the RSS Feed. Sigh... My previous blog template was in html classic blogger mode and I dunno how to set RSS Feed for that. I didn't know I dun have feed in my blog until Wey Yiing told me that she doesn't know my blog was updated because my blog has no feed! Maybe it has feed but I just dunno how to set. Then hor, now after changing to new blogger mode, only I realized that it is actually the setting problem. Hahaha.. Blur as usual.
Never mind.
I love this simple template especially the font for the header "Garden of Thoughts". Cute or not? =) And this template is easy to edit too. Actually I wanted to change my blog title to something else coz it sounds very lame. Garden of Thoughts konon. So lame. But I think everyone who read my blog are more used to this title after so many years. So I think I will just stick to it la. Hehe.
------------
Today actually was not in a good mood coz everyone in the lab was bullied by the janitor. Aih.. We always bullied by her one. She's more like a boss to us than us to her. Maybe we should start being more stern and firm when communicating with her. Sigh. For goodness sake, aunty, wash the toilet la!! Argh!!!
Ok. Enough ranting. Gotta go sleep. Very long never sleep so late already. Bad for health. Hehe.
Fuh! Just came back from Gunung Dato' trek with Marble Soon, Chung Ming, Li Ern and EWei. Tiring...
I went for this trek with the sole purpose of endurance training for KK. All these while, I'm used to trekking 10 minutes, then stop and rest for 20 minutes kind of trek when I'm tired. So, knowing that I'm training for my KK trip, Chung Ming kept pushing me uphill while Soon kept "pulling" me uphill. Thanks Chung Ming and Soon! Although I very unwillingly continuously trek uphill, but when I reached the top all the torture suddenly felt nothing to me. Hahaha.. If not because of you guys, I think I sure very slack. I sure use more than 2 hours to reach the top. Yea, this time I used 2 hours to reach the top, if not mistaken it's faster than last time.
We met quite a few fun people up there. A whole team of prison investigators went climbing today also. We met the funny "tuan" (everyone call him tuan), the muscular Commander who was in the Malaysia first Everest climbing team, another guy (dunno his position) and some ladies (I guess they work in the office la coz they are skinnier than me!!). We also met a very experienced Indian (or mamak??) climber who had climbed hills for 30 years. He climbs hill every weeken and had already climbed 10 hills this year!! OMG, it's only February now. And we met two solo climbers who look like students to me with DSL cameras. They kept taking the picture of us chatting with the tuan, commander and the climber. Soon gave one of them his email address already, hope he will send the photos to us la. Hehe.
The Tuan very friendly went around and take picture with us.
He's also very funny. He asked us some IQ questions: 1. Apa beza anak dara dulu dengan anak dara sekarang? -Anak dara dulu sudah tua sekarang. Muahahhaa. It's a very cold joke..
2. Tali apa paling kuat di dunia ini? -Tali bra (coz it holds 2 mountains together.. muahahaha...)
And they told us we should try Gunung Angsi. All of them say it's a very nice hill with nice view. It's near to Kuala Pilah, Seremban. The climber gave Chung Ming his number and offered us a guide if we want to go Angsi next time. So friendly la they all. Really had great time knowing these new friends.
I think today's trek had somehow improved my determination. Hope can go for the next training in March after I come back from hometown.
Gosh, my body is aching already.
Camp area
Group photo
With my trainers at a limited place on the top of the hill to hide from the glaring sun.
Act cool.
Lying on rocks and act emo. Hehe.
This one is not acting emo. This is real emo emotion. lol. Dunno when Soon took one.
Enjoying sitting on the wooden fence with my ice cold 100 plus. Yum!
Tired..
Some nice scenery taken: Foot of the hill. Nice. But hazy. Someone was burning something there.
Top of the hill taken by Soon. Nice right? Can use as wallpaper already.
Taken by me when I was standing on the isolated rock. The angle very limited la.. This is the best already. Keke.
Oh, and I found that I really love climbing on rocks. Love to find the cleaves and holes and secure the tip of my feet to the hole. I feel safer climbing the rocks than the stairs at Dato' coz I find that I'm depending my life on my hands when I clutch my hands to the rocks. As for the stairs, if the ropes that tie around the stairs broke, then it's your luck.
Since talk about rock climbing already, I saw this clip from Akandos Phang in Facebook (I dunno him but since he looks really good with rock climbing so I just accept his friend request lo). This clip is "Patrick Berhault Climbing like Dancing on the Rock". I love the way he sways and swings so easily on the rocks and the way he secure his feet on the rocks.
Nice right? The way he danced on the rock.
He's the father of rock climbing. But, he died 5 years ago in his 47 when climbing Swiss Alps with his partner. According to this site:"...a cornice of snow collapsed under him on the 67th peak in the journey, the 4,491m Täschhorn, resulting in a fatal 600m fall. Berhault had not been roped to his companion Philippe Magnin, in order to move more quickly on terrain that was technically straightforward for such experienced alpinists..." It's such a waste he died because of a mistake coz he actually can do some safety precaution (tie the rope to his partner) when climbing the hills. But, maybe it's like that la.. When you're very confident in yourself you might wanna go shortcut and tend to overlook some underlying dangers.
Maybe I should learn more on protecting myself when climbing rocks? Hmm.. Hmm...
