Happy Birthday Dacia!

It's my wifes birthday today. She's like the coolest person in the entire world. Seriously none can even come close to her awesomeness and her level of coolness. No one would even come close to such feeble attempts.
I'm not gonna get all squishy and lovey dovey on a bloggins, so I just wanted everyone to know that I AM the LUCKIEST guy in the world, sorry to all you other losers out there but I won the game of games!! Muahaha - The olympics, the amazing race, jeopardy, sorry Ken Jennings you have nothing when it comes to the prize I won. :)
I love you sweety and here's to 200 more birthdays!
Cheers! :)
p.s. everyone should call and wish her a happy birthday.

Joe aka Tarzan
I had a blast doing the zip lines as well as the tarzan swing. I've decided that we need to set up a zip line at the cabin. All in favor? The first video is of me doing the Tarzan swing (Dacia thinks I'm crazy) and the last one is of of of the lines in the "advance" course.

Memorial Weekend
We actually didn't take pictures of day one! Doh! ... not that I have anyway. It was a quick, brief ride 10 min from Mike and Em's place. It rained as we we're loading up the bikes... stopped for us while we rode (good thing too cuz we did some crazy boonyin to ride a loop) then started to rain again when we loaded back up the bikes.
DAY TWO:
We drove further up Cedar City Canyon, where we had lunch with everyone at ... I forget the name of the park... and did a fun single track where we had to go around many downed trees.
It was really cool because we we're deep into aspens but when we pulled up to the saddle you got to see neat cliffs in the back like the redrocks there.
Leave it to Em to take some great pictures of the Aspens. It wasn't long before we had riden most of the open area there when we decided to do a lil boonyin :) It was a blast! Tree hoppin at its finest!
Here we are discussing how we want to get back out to the road. And below is a group shot -Emily and Mike's camera howls when the timer goes off and so that made me laugh.
DAY THREE:
This was epic of all 3 days. We decided to drive up to Beaver and after a late start we pulled into the Polaris dealer right off the freeway where we had heard you could park. He gave us a map and some routes to checkout. We also picked up some cheap registration for our bikes :)
Once we finished up we were off to go unload and begin our ride. As soon as we pulled onto the ATV trail it was super! Probably 80% of the trail is like whats pictured below:
Some more great shots that Emily took:
We neared some switchbacks where we finally came to the first group of ATVs. It was fun seeing them getting ready to turn around due to a large snowbank. One lady told us we'd have to turn around and that we would need to move so they could tow their leader out of the bank that he had tried to make his way through. We told her we'd move right out of her way and in about 1 minute we all pushed/rolled our lightweight bikes over the snow and over a huge log and went around them. Teehee get a motorcycle you fools!
Then again maybe the joke was on us, we didn't really think how we'd get back as the snowbank/tree log was more of a "one way" route at the time. Oh well... we'll figure it out later!
Right after the snowbank the trail branched off and opened up to a gorgeous meadow:
We rode through some gorgeous Aspens:
We pushed up ontop and came to the southside where the trail dipped into some pines and unfortunately there was too much snow and too many downed trees to make our planned loop possible. So we had lunch up on top of the world and I decided to climb a tree to see if there was anyway around all the snow.
But alas there didn't seem to be a way around it so we had to make the grueling trip back through the gorgeous aspens. Jared didn't seem too bothered:
We also noticed while we ate lunch some large heavy storm clouds moving in the direction of where we had hoped to go - so turning around was a little more enticing. We decided to take the fork in the road and see where it went. We came to this gorgeous lake where it started to lightly snow on us.
Jaxon didn't seem to mind either:
Riding back we realized we'd have to get over this huge log. The easiest way seemed to build a ramp as it was a little over waist high which would make it difficult to lift the bikes over.
Riding the ramp was another story. Be sure to watch the video all the way to the end to get a real perspective of how it would be to ride this "highway".
We started headin back and scouted out some of the other roads that we'll definately have to take another time:
And of course we did some jumps along the way :)

About 8 inches. Enjoy the pics!
That corner pile of snow in the back is about as high as the car :)
Bade and I went and did some donuts in the nearby church parking lot. Lots of fun - my drifting skillz are quite impressive. Too bad we don't have pics but below is our checklist of things to do when roads permit some extreme sport civicing:180 tailwhip (check)
75 foot table top
