I built act101 to solve a critical problem I faced as a developer. While working on a project, I neglected to specify a multi-tenant architecture, and my coding agent spent eight hours and millions of tokens trying to refactor the code by hand. I realized that the issue wasn't the AI itself, but the lack of effective tooling. With act101, we provide tree- and graph-based tools for codebase navigation, refactoring, and modernization across 163 grammars, enabling coding agents to handle complex projects efficiently.
