Nice and thin. Slick surface. RGB lighting is sufficiently bright and the separate zones around the pad mean nice lighting effects. I wanted a hard surface pad with a rigid build and this fit the bill nicely. Cyber Monday sale basically made it a no-brainer. Using up a USB slot for a mousepad is kind of ludicrous, but I can't argue with how it looks. Colors are very vibrant, with smooth transitions. This is probably the best RGB mousepad out there.

Tracking is very precise with my optical and laser mice. All 3 of my mice, Logitech G900, G700s, and CM MM520 all feel like they are on ice on this pad. Smooth movement with zero drag is a good improvement over my Roccat Taito Control. I understand the utility of cloth pads, and the control they offer, but for some reason I am more accurate and have better reaction on hard surfaces. In addition to the good sensors in my mice, this surface gives uncompromising 1:1 tracking. Performance-wise this pad is right where it needs to be.

Time will tell how well it holds up to wear and tear. I imagine the surface will eventually grow dull with wear patterns. I'm really more interested to see how the lighting and construction on the edges holds up to constant pressure from my wrist. Avoided the MM800C because the construction means it would be very difficult to clean the cloth surface without ruining it. Also, being an expensive, powered pad, means that I want this to last a few years. The second the cloth starts getting snags or peeling up, the MM800C becomes junk. Hopefully this regular MM800 will last me a few years of constant use.

This mouse pad's size surprised me. The images did not do it any justice. I was originally concerned about it being too small for my liking. That was quickly alleviated when I saw the box.

The lights are very bright to even shine on my desk in a lit room, and the colors are accurate.

The material is a textured plastic. It makes my mouse glide nice across it with no grip whatsoever.

The USB port on the front is a really nice touch. That was the biggest reason for me to get it so I don't have to disconnect my mouse from the back of my tower every time I want to take it somewhere.

The logo is less intrusive than like on other Corsair products, which is a welcome addition. I feel like Corsair products are a little overbranded, but I don't have an issue representing them because they make high quality computer parts, and their customer service is top notch.

I feel it's also a smidge overpriced at the recommended price, but I understand they gotta make money. It doesn't feel they're price-gouging TOO hard, given the quality of the mousepad. 45 feels like a solid price to keep it at.

All in all, good first impressions as usual Corsair. Well done.

I have always loved corsair products. Generally speaking they are very high quality and have great longevity. This product in particular is a great example of corsair quality. The mouse mat has a nice smooth texture with a foamy fabric underneath to help with surface grip. My corsair scimitar mouse glides effortlessly across the surface of this mouse mat. The RGB effects as with all corsair products are top notch. The lighting has no flaws and looks very appealing to the eye.

Pros:

- Quality materials.

- Smooth surface.

- Quality lighting.

- Good value for money.

Cons:

-It would be nice to have the option to buy a larger version of this mat. (The mat is a good size, id just love an even bigger one, personal choice.)

I got this about six months ago. You should know that I'm very into ornamental LEDs--I've got the headset stand, keyboard, mouse, and computer LEDs active. So that's a plus for me. But the thing I really like about this product is that the mousing surface is precise, large, and stays clean. With the same mouse I'm using now, I used to get a buildup of gunk on its pads over time when I was using a freebie Dell hard mousepad. This buildup impacted the performance of the mouse a bit and I had to clean it at least once every few weeks. I haven't gotten that once since switching to this mousepad.

The surface is pleasantly grippy without seeming rough. Be sure you measure the area you are planning to put it because it is quite large compared to a normal mouse pad.

It's dozens of dollars for something that might seem non-essential, but its been totally worth it for me.

A great mouse pad albeit with some cons.

First the Pros:

The mouse pad is large and the surface is fantastic. It's a hard surface but very smooth.

The RGB lighting looks great and the effect and colors are easily changed through the CUE software.

The bottom of the pad has a nice rubber layer to keep the pad in place.

The pad has a mouse passthrough. You plug the pad into your PC/laptop and then the mouse into the pad itself.

The Cons:

The power cable plastic piece at the top of the mouse pad can get in the way. If your mouse power cable is straight, it will "trip" over the plastic piece as you move your mouse. I recommend bending your mouse power cable to the side where it won't interfere. One doing that, I've had no problems.

If you lock your computer, the mouse pad does not remember your settings and goes into a rainbow effect. This is by far my biggest annoyance. The pad doesn't have built in memory so in order for it to remember your color settings, you have to be actively in Windows with the CUE software running. Locking your computer suspends CUE so you are stuck with a rainbow effect. It's bright and extremely distracting so if you sleep in the same room with your PC, it's a deal breaker. I'm hoping a firmware update can be downloaded to turn the light off if your computer is locked.

Let's be real, this is a glorified RGB mouse pad but a beautiful and sleek one at that. It's spacious and the hard surface material feels like quality. It looks much better in person once it's actually plugged in. The surface is ever so slightly textured but allows for your mouse to glide all over it. The USB pass-through is a nice edition so you're not really losing a USB port on your PC. The RBG lighting effects are controlled by Corsair's iCUE software and has various different lighting profiles you can set, although if you forgo the software the mouse pad defaults to a rainbow RGB pattern that goes clockwise. You can also update the device through the software but unfortunately you cannot adjust the brightness of the LED's at all so keep that in mind. The software is decent when it works but is sometimes buggy so just be aware of that if you choose to download it (I did not factor the software into my review as the mouse pad works the moment you plug it in and ultimately it is not necessary to use). The only real downside of this mouse pad is the price. Now at a retail price of $59.99 it's simply not worth the money in my opinion. I purchased this on sale for $39.99 and even then I have a hard time justifying the price. If it was 10 dollars cheaper I think that would be a much more reasonable price and would then definitely recommend this product. However, if you live the RGB life or just want to pimp out your PC setup, you won't be disappointed in this purchase.

I have been waiting for Amazon to carry this mouse pad for a very long time. I finally got one. It is a lot brighter than the Razer (I have both and bought both on Amazon) and there is a lot more customization. The only thing I have a problem with this pad is the software you have to install, downloaded form Corsair's website, is huge in comparison to Razer's and Steel Series when the computer is first started (Corsair is about 35MB, the Razer is 15 and the SS is 24). When you open it, it uses about 77MB of memory, Razer Synapse still uses about 15 and Steel Series 3 uses four processes totaling about 142MB. The Razer software is the only one though that doesn't seem to increase when the computer is started and then opened. But all in all, I like the mouse pad. I was kind of hoping to be able to use it as sort of a desk blotter without being attached to a computer, just a 5v power source but that didn't seem to work.

Just as described. The MM800 is a solid hard surface mouse pad. I've paired it with the dark core rgb pro and can say they work extremely well together. All lighting links work flawlessly as well as addressing each individual lighting zone. I've added a few pictures of the default profile as well as one I set up for one of my games. My one down size so far is that the mouse pad remains active even when the computer is asleep but I mitigated that by setting the default profile to all rgb settings at 0.

I'm a sucker for hard mouse mats, this is definitely one of the better ones that I've owned. I got this on sale so keep that in mind (I would definitely never pay the full price for this thing).

The lighting is great, very customisable and syncs up well with other RGB corsair products. the edges are smoothed and easy on wrists (unlike the hard logitech surface i owned before this) and the texture on the pad allows for really smooth gliding with the mouse.

De verdad que el producto es de alta calidad. La textura se siente muy bien y el mouse casi se desliza sobre el tapete. No esperaba que fuera tan drástico el cambio. Los colores se ven muy bien y tienen muchas configuraciones posibles, además de que los efectos se pueden sincronizar con otros periféricos Corsair. El software de Corsair no me ha dado problemas con este producto, a diferencia de otros. El tapete tiene buen tamaño, dudo mucho que a alguien le falte, de hecho probablemente sea un poco grande para algunos, pero está bien así porque el tamaño ayuda a que se vea aún mejor.

Le pongo 5/5 pero en realidad le daría 4.5 si pudiera, por lo siguiente:

- El logo de Corsair en la esquina inferior derecha no es configurable de forma independiente, y no parece tener LED propio, de manera que si el brillo del borde no es muy alto, puede verse un poco descolorido en comparación.

- El precio. Es un producto muy bueno, de verdad que lo es, pero no me parece que valga 4 cifras (y lo mismo va para el Razer Firefly). Estoy feliz de haberlo conseguido a unos $800.

Para concluir, quizás te duela un poco la adquisición, pero después de verlo seguro se te olvida.

PCをRGBをテーマに新しく組んだので、これを機に周辺機器もRGB化しようという事で、Steeelseriesの布製品（名前は忘れた）からの移行。

全く違う素材からの移行だった事もあり、最初は滑りやすさに慣れる必要があったが、暫く使っていれば逆に使いやすい程に。

滑りやすいという事は止めにくいという事でもあるが、逆に言えばマウスを動かした分だけキチンと反応するという事で、マウスを低センシ設定にすれば手とマウスカーソルが一体化したような感触になる。

また制御ソフトが非常によく出来ていて、初心者でも簡単に思い通りの光り方をさせる事が出来る。

キーボードやその他周辺機器がCORSAIRブランドでソフトに対応していれば、ソフトを使って光り方をリンクさせる事が出来てこれがまたカッコイイ。

これを購入した貴方、どうせならキーボードもCORSAIRで揃えてみては如何だろうか。

Corsair MM800 mouse pad looks great, RGB is really good and bright. I liked this mouse pad and can compare with with HP Omen mouse pad.

I really likes the looks & lighting of HP OMEN Mouse Pad with 5 Watts Built-in Qi Wireless Charging. Omen mouse pad is bit costly.

I really Corsair products. Only problem is that Corsair does not makes mouse like G502 x plus and Basilisk Ultimate.

Fantastic smooth surface , easy to clean - perfect size. Rgb is bright and can be turned down via software.
