The pellets work really well but when using with the smoke tube that you can buy separately you only get 2 and a 1/2 hours worth of smoking time when that tube is filled which uses up a significant amount of pellets out of those packages available. When I purchased them my plan was to do a 18 to 24 hours smoke on some salmon , But I ran out of the original flavor that I was using which was Hickory so I ended up having to substitute using the other flavors to complete the smoking process. Ultimately I finished the salmon using a hot smoke and it came out fine but in the future you need to plan ahead for more pellets if you're going to do a long smoke like that. I would even go as far as to say if you plan on doing long smokes maybe have a second smoke tube available so that when the 1st one runs out you can put the 2nd one in its place to continue the process because of the short time that those tubes actually last which again is about 2 and a 1/2 hours. The variety pack definitely is a sampler pack but plan on short smokes with the amount in each pack because they don't last very long for a smoking process but it is a good way to check the flavor profile to find what your favorite one is.

Generous amount of pellets per bag. Wonderful flavors and aromas! I actually smoke mixing pellet types for different types of food and have exquisite results.... I smoke/cook every single week for the entire family. Picanha, ribeye, chicken, salmon, veggies are so flavorful now, there is no good back!

I have faith in quality of these. So far I cannot keep them lit..but I believe it's me. I will figure it out.

I bought this first , then the Traegers blend at Home Depot. The BBQ Delight pellets just smell sooo good. It's real flavor wood (not some liquid smoke)... The Traeger pellets are pellets w/ added oil-based flavors (ie liquid smoke)... smelled horrible when I smoked it, I ended up tossing the pellets. It's hard to go back to 'regular' pellets once you've had quality ones like the BBQ Delight ones. This flavor pack is great .. I can get 2-3 uses out of each bag w/ the Amazen smoke tubes. I think I will order direct from them going forward now that I know which flavors I like. These are flavor pellets, not fuel pellets. (which are "diluted" with generic hardwood pellets). at first I was like, how is this so expensive? then when I realized how much better this stuff smelled, i was like, "oh, ok.. i get it now."

These pellets are A+ quality. Each flavor was distinctive. Ended up, layering the pellets for flavorful smoking.

I recently bought a Traeger and have been experimenting with different types of pallets and for the price and the variety, I wanted to try these as I am a smoker newbie. I do like the flavors of the pallets, especially with my smoked salmon and I've been experimenting with smoke cheeses and they're not bad but let me tell you, my favorite of the bunch is definitely the Jack Daniels pallets, amazing flavor! Excellent with pork, beef, chicken and I even made smoked almonds and they just blew me away. I used the JD for my chicken and my friends couldn't figure out that flavor but really loved it. I'm going to keep that secret between me and Jack Daniels and let them think I'm just a pro on the Traeger. My only problems are that they are a bit pricey for the sizes and the pallets don't last long so that's why I say these are perfect trial sizes for beginners.

Pretty good for the price. I just tried JD, Cherry (finishing a pork butt now in Cherry) and mesquite. Mellow flavours through out. If you use what they recommend it is almost perfect, if you like Smokey, I do, add another 1/2 of suggested. Flavours I r's don't over power and seem consistent so far. No need to preload which is nice. I have a Masterbuilt gravity charcoal grill/smoker.

I our chased these a a sample pack when I got my husband his new pellet smoker for Christmas. It was actually a great way to try all the different flavors without having to buy a huge bag

I really liked that it was a sampler box. But a decent amount of pellets in each of the bags to get a good taste of flavour. I gave this as a gift to our son for Christmas to use in his pellet smoker. He really appreciated the different flavours. It arrived sooner then the delivery date and I was impressed with that too . I would order this again.
