Customers say

Customers find the acoustic panels visually appealing and consider them a great buy for the cost. However, the sound isolation and functionality receive mixed reviews - while some say they reduce noise effectively, others report they don't block sound well and don't work as expected. Moreover, adhesion is a concern as the panels aren't self-adhesive, and quality opinions are divided between those who are satisfied and those who find them useless. Additionally, customers note that the white color is closer to light gray and the panels are thinner than expected.

Very stylish, help to tame frequencies

Very stylish, help to tame frequencies
First, I’m reviewing this strictly for use in my home recording studio so I can’t speak for use outside of that. Also, I just want to make clear that these will not “sound proof” your walls. Soundproofing is often used to describe products like these ceiling tiles when in actuality they are better suited to ‘tame’ deflection from mids/upper-mids and some high frequencies. Sound-proofing is a highly technical, very expensive process and you should consult a professional if you have the budget. So, I bought these because of their sleek, low profile design, and white color. I’ve been in countless studios that are too dark and almost cave-like. I wanted my studio to be as light as possible so as to energize me to create rather than make me want to pass out on the couch - which I’ve also done at many studios while in mixing sessions! The white color panels looks fantastic on my white ceilings. Mission accomplished there. The DEKIRU ceiling tiles help with deflection but I’ve also employed some serious acoustic panels, rugs, and custom designed bass traps so it’s difficult to quantify how much they are taming the mids/highs. My room sounds GREAT, though, and it’s probably safe to say the DEKIRU tiles are contributing to that. In fact, I went to buy more of the honeycomb shaped panels and they are sold out?! I’m super bummed cause I love the shape and style these add to my room. Anyway, if you’re looking at these to treat deflection they can be employed in conjunction with other methods of sound treatment to help a room sound better for mixing! Get em!

I love the design of these panels. It's so fun mixing them with other colors and creating fun patterns on the wall. They are pretty good for absorption. I use them on 1 wall of my sound studio for backdrop. Pretty dense but they're not 100% professional absorption. If you're using them, then its for aesthetics with the added benefit of sound cancelling.

***The only drawback. AND IT'S A MAJOR ONE! Note that they are fabric pieces. I used Gorilla Glue double-stick tape for the back and it did not work. Even though the panels are very light-weight, the double-sided tape wouldn't work. I tried everything to get a tape to stick but it wouldn't stick to the fabric. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON TAPE. I used 3M Adhesive and it has worked great. My advise. Use adhesive spray.

They look great, the tape holds them to the wall more than you can ever imaging (will ruin drywall when removed), but they definitely help. Used mine for a golf sim in a room that echoed like crazy. After adding turf, these, the screen, and a few other things that absorb sound, I’ve got a great environment with limited echo. So yes, buy these, but don’t expect them to resolve every little echo. You’ll likely need multiple approaches.

Had a great night of sleep finally. No longer can I hear obnoxious street racing down the street with their loud mufflers. I don’t hear much noise if I do it’s quite muffled. It’s hard to actually make these stand up on my window. No adhesive backing wnd they don’t interlock. So I jammed them in between my window and the mesh screen. It prob looks sketchy from my neighbors view but hey it works.

Look Pretty, Not as Noise Cancelling as Some

These are very pretty- for some reason I'm all about hexagons lately and the clean white pattern looks SUPER cute on my walls. I used simple Velcro command strips to stick these to my walls so they can be easily removable. I liked them so much I got two packs, and have had them up for at least a month now, none have ever fallen off.

I'm a streamer so I'm always on my PC, my rooms always running hot, things tend to unstick themselves from the walls pretty quickly when they're bad quality items/sound panels (I've tried out a few different ones by now).

These are sound absorbent, not noise cancelling like MOST people think foam padding like these work. btw these aren't made of FOAM, so while these are THINNER than other FOAM panels, these are THINNER but have WAY less air flow/noise sound flow through them because of how DENSE they are.

I'm not saying they'll completely cancel out every noise you make, but I DO think they at least muffle sounds while also looking cute.

I'll update with pics and with if they ever unstick or fall off, but I've had no problems so far.

These look super cute on the wall & work better than I thought they would. I specifically bought these for dampening my voice from carrying through the wall or upstairs. They not only worked for outgoing sound, but they helped dampen the sound of my loud neighbors! I used command strips to hang.

I used 3M command picture hanging strips on these - 2 “small” ones per tile, and they did great. The product itself does not come with any kind of adhesive.

I purchased to help reduce noise coming from upstairs into my downstairs office. Obviously, there is still a lot of noise coming down, but it definitely helped.

This is probably not a product that will help with actual soundproofing or creating an environment for podcast recording, even if you lined the walls with them touching. But as an overall reducer? Highly recommend.

I do wish there were more color options. I might have ordered from another vendor with more colors, but I needed these quickly.
