These have the same weight, feel, and texture of a real 9mm round. It does everything you'd want and not the one thing you wouldn't. I purchased these with a similar product for my AR (5.56 rounds), and those turned out to be complete trash, which made me appreciate these even more.

Having dummy ammo is not just for newbies to the gun world. I've often wanted to work with ammo while practicing my draw or other similar activities from the comfort of my living room. Sometimes, I just enjoy the sound of the round entering the chamber. This gives the practice ability and the sound I love to hear, all without the potential tragedy caused by live ammo, regardless of how safe you are.

If you own a gun, I recommend this purchase. It's low cost and serves a great purpose.

These are fantastic and well weighted training cartridges. For the price they give you a generous amount vs other companies. Some things that are great

1. They have a good weight which is helpful during training

2. They are not painted like other purple cartridges so you don't need to worry about chips and rough surfaces

3. The orange tip is bright and easy to see which will help you distinguish between real and training

4. The company who I bought them from (DTOM GEAR USA) were really great and friendly when I contacted them with questions

UPDATE: I purchased a second set to use in addition to my original set. The first has had 0 flaws/issues but I wanted a second set for breaking in mag springs. For some pistols, the spring and follower are really stiff so using these inert rounds to load/unload/load/unload will help work the mag spring/follower in a safe way. You can keep a mag loaded for a few days as well.

These are also great to use when you are teaching people how to safely load and clear a pistol for people new to CCW. For a person new to this, they can practice over and over until they are comfortable.

I think all pistol owners should have at least one set of these. And I am happy to have found such nice people who provide exactly what I need.

Perfect snap caps, work great in a Glock and 1911. Cheapest and safest way to practice dry fire and loading/etc. Always remember to check and clear your weapon every. single. time. you pick it up or are handed one.

I can not figure out why, but on every gun I’ve used these in they have worked great for the exception of my gen 5 Glock 19. In a LC9, EC9, CZ, and Beretta px4 storm they worked perfect. The Glock though is extremely hard the cycle it out almost like it gets stuck in the chamber. But it slides right in if you just drop it in the chamber. Dimensions are fine, really don’t get it. Would give it 5 stars but Glock is a big number of users I’m sure and I tried every round in the bag with the same results. Only thing different is the Glock was new (under 100 rounds) and all others were over 500rds. But for the price they are well worth it and work great when you sneak them in your wife’s mag and see how bad she handles it until trained. I put them out and we all load each other’s mags to get practice in. I would buy again and it may be that the Glock just needs broke in more. Although it has not had one real malfunction with many different kinds of ammo. Still a good training tool, because if I have a real round jam up that hard I’ll know how to clear it quickly I guess.

Whether it's just for training on misfires, dry firing, or messing around your house and calling it "training" when you draw on your teddy bear, any shooter can make use of dummy rounds.

Great training inert rounds. We have a lot of these at my work, which get ran hard and very often. With my experience with these training aids at work, plus experience with other kinds of dummy rounds and snap caps; these are undoubtedly the toughest and most functional. They're basically nickel casings loaded with a polymer piece that is very durable. They don't have plastic bodies that get chewed up, paint that flakes off, or have trouble cycling through weapons. Again, they're just durable and functional; with a design that makes them less expensive than some of the more intricate attempts.

These seem to cycle just like regular live rounds in any weapon I've tried them in. These are NOT snap caps; the firing pin/striker will not hit anything in the primer pocket on these. I wouldn't add chunks of pencil eraser to the primer pocket to make them snap caps either (it appears the primer pocket was drilled out, so it might push the plastic insert out).

I loved the colors of this they were built with good quality material it was perfect so my training I had no issue with jamming I have a 9mm rock island fit perfect inside the clip and came out easy when discharged it almost look like a real bullet I’ve had them for quite some time and they are still like brand new

If weight is an issue...these are 4 grams each. A 147 grain 9mm HP is 14 grams.

Something is off, they jam just short of feeding.

Then every couple of racks the slide locks completely,

like the round is stuck in the chamber.
