    I was a bit worried when one review said theirs was refurbished and I can assure you this is absolutely NOT true. Mine came in original packaging with sealed plastic wrap direct from apple. Only downside is yes you get one year warranty but its NOT one year apple care as I thought but I got this on special so I just paid the extra AU$89 for that. Computer is lightning fast with the M1 chip and the gold colour is beautiful!! Ive been using it daily since purchase and I also have to say the battery power of this laptop is insane! I can start using it in the morning and come nighttime I still have power!! Unbelievable!!! I wouldn't be worried at all going out for the day without a charger cord but when you do have to charge, it charges so fast its incredible! Also this has no fan but manages to stay cool as a cucumber all day?? Kudos to Apple for that as well!! It Does only have 2 C ports so recommend getting a dongle of which I also researched high and low and can recommend the ankler 7+ one as it has a power direct in port so you can still charge your laptop while using it if needed and a C port to plug other things into as well being able to charge a tonne of other stuff and read an SD card all without overheating or dropping out. So far.. apart from obviously my gaming laptop..best laptop I think I have ever owned! Well done Apple!

    This is just a pleasure to use in every way. 3 years on it is still my go to for serious mobile computing. I don’t need to render or encode feature length animated movies on it. I have a better Mac for that. This does everything else I need beautifully. I bought a 14” M2 Pro when they came out and it was a thing of beauty, but I still wanted to use this in preference. Just add a dongle for the ports it doesn’t provide and away you go.

    It’s worked out ok but it doesn’t have usb or cd hubs ! I had to buy more leads and I should have done more homework on it and read the year it was made! as in 2024 I bought a 2020 make . I think I bought a computer for students and not for an oldies lol 😳 but that’s my fault 🤦‍♀️

    It is very hard to fault this notebook. Long battery life, great keyboard, amazing M1 processor and the best value for money in this range. Also, it does well retaining market value. For PC users though, it requires adaptation and the learning experience can frustrating at the beginning.
