Generated from the text of customer reviewsGreat product, as expected from Apple, works smoothly and integrates well into my Mac!
...I'm sort of one the fence. I use to hate this mouse. I have tried many mice, probably have some sort of obsession with mice and keyboards, who knows.
Anyway, what was I saying? Oh yeah, I have had pain in my hand from using the Logitech Master 2s & 3 due to their weight. It might not seem like much but imagine your job revolves around using a mouse. Clicking and moving it all day. Yep, got a bit of over use injury, which seems to calm down when using the Magic Mouse. The way you use the mouse is less of a grip like other mice, so puts less pressure on your hand when moving it around, plus it's so light.
You rarely need to charge the thing. So having the charging on the bottom isn't a big deal.
If you have a Mac don’t even bother getting a Trackpad. It is not only beautiful and well made, it is absolutely well matched to my Mac. Don’t even consider inferior products, which if you an Apple convert, you wouldn’t anyway!
Great cordless Apple mouse, works well, easy to move and used as a touch mouse to move documents and pages, very light, very solid, and charge lasts a good length of time.

The battery lasts ages between charges. The mouse is easy to keep clean. It looks good. It sounds good. It feels good. And it's responsive. I recommend without hesitation!
I upgraded from the original Magic Mouse (the one that took 2 AA batteries) and I will say that the the first obvious difference was the reduction in weight over the old one. The newer ones are a lot less fatiguing to use over the course of a day than the original one. Combined with a slightly improved design of the sleds underneath the mouse uses to glide on, it makes it a really nice upgrade.
The black is both bold and sleek, and it complements the design of the new Studio Display and even the old Thunderbolt Display, which I'm using it with.
I'd give it 5 stars but I would have like to see these new revisions of the Keyboard, Mouse and Trackpad using USB C. I understand that Apple would consider the MFi program for Lightning cables and accessories as a revenue stream, and it makes sense to them to keep that going for as long as they can. Perhaps on the next generation of products?
This being said, the included Lightning cable is USB C on the other end, and looks to be really high quality compared to their older style rubber coated cords everyone would be familiar with.
Very handy
Mouses are a very personal preference and I cannot say that it is the best mouse, however, it is the best mouse to me. Its light weight, comfortable and most importantly fits into my Apple ecosystem and that is the keyword. Being able to use familiar gestures as I would with my iOS devices just makes life a breeze whether its at work or at home. I have had Logitechs, Microsofts and many others but not works and plays as well as the Magic Mouse with my Macs or iPads. I admit all our hands are different so do not take my word for it. Try it before your get it.

This is my first time using an apple mouse in all seriousness. I have always used the trackpad on my MacBooks. I am wowed by this product, it works as promised and is better than any other mouse I have used before. Good job Apple!
love it
