I purchased this on May 16th and it is now July 23rd. So, I have been using it for a little over 2 months. I use it as an office chair, 8 or 9 hours per day, Monday – Friday. I am very happy with this chair. I was looking for a chair with high back for head and neck support. This chair is excellent. It has held up great. No issues. I do use the lumbar support and head/neck pillow. Being able to recline the seat all of the way back flat has been a great feature; I have had a few great lunch our naps in this chair. I do not use the arm rests. I never installed them. They went straight into the trash. I rest my arms on my desk, and arm rests just get in the way and prevent me from being able to move my chair close to the desk. I recall several reviews complaining that the screw holes did not line up with the pre-cut holes in the leather and caused problems when assembling the chair. That is a ridiculous complaint. They were not all perfect, but definitely acceptable. I did have to pull the leather a bit here and there to get a couple screws to line up. But, who cares. It takes 30 minutes to assemble then you never have to deal with it again. I thought the holes were great for what it is. The alternative would be to have really oversized holes in the leather to insure alignment, but I personally do not want giant holes in my leather. This chair is highly recommended. I would definitely purchase it again. Be prepared for everyone to think that your chair is awesome and want to sit in it and recline it and stuff. Be prepared for the all of the comments about how fast it looks and that you need a seatbelt on it. And be prepared for an awesome comfortable chair. Update October 31st 2019 I have had this chair for a year and three months now. I continue to use it 40 hours per week. No change in opinion. It is still in excellent condition, still awesome, no issues. Great chair!

Out of the box arm rests are too low to be useful if you are 6'4"

    Update 3/18/2018 (5 stars)

I have just attached the new armrests to the chair. They are great.

Devoko has the right business model for a successful Amazon company. Sell a cost effective quality product at a good price and make sure everyone is happy with it. I had to bump them up to 5 stars based on all of these points. This is a great chair for comfortable long stints at a computer especially if you can lean back. And it is still a really good chair for standard office use where the seat is not reclined and you are focused on killer typing speed. When you consider the price, I would say you would have a very difficult time getting a chair of this quality by a company that cares about its customers (read reputation) this much for even double the price or more.

    Update 2/28/2018 (4 stars)

Devoko really stands behind their products. I woke to receiving an email from them offering to work with me to make this right. I will update this review again once the situation is completely resolved.

As for the armrests that come with the chair, I stand behind my original statement that they provide no support for your hands being on a keyboard. However, if later in the day you want to recline the backrest about 30 degrees and watch some videos on your computer, this is one very comfortable chair.

Original 2/27/2018 -- immediately after assembling and trying out. (3 stars)

At 6'4", I find the arm rests non existent (i.e. they are at least an inch too low to be useful or provide any support to the shoulders. This causes my shoulders to sag and I have to support my arms the entire time I am using this chair. This was slightly more expensive than my current chair (that was about $100) and based on the arm rests alone, much less comfortable. That being said, my current chair has adjustable arm rests which probably is what allowed it to be as comfortable as it is for my size.

On a positive note, I do like the lumbar support. I did not know if I would like it as it looked bulky in the pictures. The lumbar support is far more comfortable than it appears as if it would be.

In a nutshell, I would not have purchased this had I sat in it prior to purchasing it on line. If you are shorter and can deal with the lower armrests, it may be a good seat for you. I may try this for a few more days. I also may try to return this. But after dealing with assembling it, I may just give it away also as the return would be cost prohibitive.

Also to be fair, it is a pretty good chair for about $125 with shipping especially if you are comparing it to chairs with similar armrests.

So. When I bought the chair it was on sale for $80 something. It has seen heavy use and the only issues since first buying till now

No Adjustable arms, which isn't a huge down sell really. They work great for when I do use them. *side note not sure if it was the heavy use, or just the weld of one my rests, but it snapped off on me so now I have a loose arm to fix, but have access to welder so itll be fixed in a jiffy.

Other than that I have only seen the basic wear and tear from constant use and would fully recommend this chair at current price, and if you see it on sale its a steal! Wouldn't be a good review without the Pro's right?

Endless comfortability, with the reclining back rest you can use this bad boy at up to almost 180 degrees for whatever suits your need! Ive even fallen asleep in this thing watching a movie so... 10/10

Super easy to set up/instructions, to put it this way, I received this super late at night and was super stoked on getting it set up as I was using a hard wooden table chair for my gaming. (I will mention this, I was being super lazy and had a light burn out in my room and didn't replace it) I set this chair up with just the light of my monitor and a hallway light coming in through the door. It was almost too easy for the quality of what I got out of this chair! It came with all the screws and the wrench/screwdriver needed to set up. 10/10

I don't even know why you would even consider spending the money on a DXRacer for up to hundreds of dollars extra, when this is just as good. Use that extra money for more gamer fuel and grind on!

Update: Product arrived with a few issues. However the company behind this product went above and beyond and delivered a replacement part, they were extremely nice about about and expedited the replacement. The chair that I have received is more than what I expected I highly recommend this product, for the price it has a very good quality it doesn't feel like a budget chair in fact it feels very competitive, Leather doesn't feel like it can be damage easily it might take a long time to wear out, compare with other brands(Autonomous ErgoChair 2, Corsair Road Warrior T2...etc..) I would absolutely go with this chair . In addition I'm really happy with their top notch costumer service.

I have not had the chance to actually sit down and write a review about this chair I’ve owned this chair for less than a month and i have encountered a few issues that you should consider before purchasing this product. After taxes I paid over a 100 bucks which is an ok price if you are shopping for a brand new gaming chair. Building this chair was an easy task and they included the tools. My biggest issue with this chair is the spring noise it makes every time I sit on it I have looked up reviews on YouTube on how to fix it you know checking the bolts and doing basic troubleshooting, and the noise is still there also when I sit on it it feels wobbly and out of balance I followed the video (the link was included with the chair) and this is not an error on my end I followed every step to make sure that my product was built correctly. I hope you’ve find my review helpful I have reached out to the company for assistance I’ll be updating the review if anything .

    Base cracked after a year
Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2020

Full content visible, double tap to read brief content.

Update 11/9: After getting in contact with the company about purchasing replacement parts they offered and sent me a new base for free despite being outside of the return window. I received it after only a few days and the chair works again. This chair still has its problems but I have to give it up to a company that backs its products this much for this long so I'm changing my review to reflect how impressed I am.

I purchased this product about a year and 3 months ago so that may factor into how much value you perceive getting out of it.

-The design is fine for the bucket seat portion of the chair, the recline option was really nice when I used it for extended study sessions and reading and the padding seemed minimal but not uncomfortable. It wasn't great to sit in for periods over a few hours but few chairs are, and the full back support for someone my height (6'4) felt great when I leaned back

-The construction is pretty wobbly on the arm rests in particular, as much as I tightened them they never seemed to stop moving which was somewhat distracting during gaming sessions. The wheels also seemed to "stick" quite a bit when I tried to roll around in the chair, I attempted to add grease to the ball casters but I think its the plastic legs and plastic wheels themselves that were the issue which leads into the problem that ultimately destroyed the chair.

-This week I noticed there was a tear in my carpet in my study space, beneath where the chair normally goes. Looking beneath the chair I saw the plastic leg base had cracked down the side allowing the metal pole that supports the seat to sink down to where it was in contact with the floor, below the wheels. Thankfully I noticed this early before I did more damage to my floors but after looking for ways to potentially repair it, I think I'll have to call it a loss and throw it away which seems like a tremendous waste.

So in conclusion, the seat component is well made and relatively comfortable but all of the mostly plastic side components: armrests, base, wheels undermine the overall construction. This is not a dealbreaker as I understand there were probably some component trade offs to be made to put the chair at a competitive price point, and looking back at how much I originally paid for the chair I wouldn't say I necessarily didn't get my moneys worth, the potential damage to my floor if I had taken it into a room with hardwood however would have tipped the scales against it. So buy at your own discretion but I will invest in a better made chair next time.

I will try to be as brevit as possible so here go's.

I was looking around for a well done , sit straight up type gaming chair. I came across this chair on amazon & read the reviews on it. So I decided to purchase it about a week ago. Long story short- I way 330lbs & am 6'2 tall, I am coming from a recliner that Iv'e been sitting in for about 5 years now. My posture was way out of line, how I was sitting & leaning to one side very often was really binding me up. I wanted to get away from the lazy chairs & and get something that has good lumbar support & would have me sitting straight up. SO

I am 36 yrs old, had my old man come over the house to help me assemble it. Took us about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs to assemble the chair. I wanted to make sure that it was done properly .The instructions could have been a bit more clearer , so with two brains working together rather than 1, we were able to push through it with proper assembly.

So with that being said, here is what I think about this really well done all around chair.

The only gripe I have with this chair is that the arm rest aren't adjustable. That's ok though, cause the rest of the chair makes up for it. I am 330lbs 6'2 & this chair carrys me like I am a feather wieght. Built real strong, nothing is wobbling or leaning to one side to the next. I don't rock and lean back'in forward in it, cause of my back. I have a really bad thing going on with my low back, bulging herniated disc , that I get injections for. I feel really comfortable and rock solid in this chair.

    Bottom line-

with the well done quality of this chair & for the price of $120.00, I Highly recommend this for those on a short budget & are looking for a rock solid gaming chair that aren't willing to fork out $500.00 for a , what they call "hi-end" chair.

    hope this helps :)

I bought this chair hesitantly knowing there is a sea of cheap knockoff gaming chairs out there around this price range that you hear horror stories about how bad they are, but I did some research and this chair came up to seem a pretty good bang for the buck, so I ordered it, and it came pretty fast, I believe within 3 days it was at my door. Assembly was very easy, knocked it out myself in about half an hour to an hour, although instructions are a bit vague its not rocket science it only uses 2 types of screws. Once it was assembled it definitely over delivered on my expectations, my old chair was slanting and was all sorts of messed, I wanted a chair that was firm enough and was easy to keep good posture on, and the pillows it comes with really do that for you effortlessly. I was worried the seat might be to narrow but it wasn't, although maybe an extra inch wouldn't hurt, arm rests are what I saw people complain about the most but I almost never have my arms on there, but they work for when I want to, they're firm and soft at the same time. The wheels are awesome, I'm on a carpet and I thought my old chair had trouble rolling on it because of the carpet but this chair made me realize it was just the low quality wheels on my last chair because these glide on it perfectly. The height and angle adjustments are more than satisfactory. On top of all this I have the peace of mind that in the case that any of my parts become damaged the manufacturers have shown a great deal of efforts to uphold the quality and will send you replacements if needed. For the price, this chair overdelivers, don't get hung up on the reviews that say some parts were missing or something was broken bla bla bla the manufacturers will make sure you get what you're supposed to get and this chair built as it should is 100% worth the money.

    Solid, good-looking, but not comfortable

It's a pretty decent product, if you're skinny and maybe don't spread your legs when you're sitting, but for anyone who's stocky like me, or if you're overweight, you might have some qualms. Let's break it down though.

Design - The chair looks awesome! I bought the black/white variant, and I was quite pleased with the aesthetic of it!

Build Quality - The chair feels pretty solid and sturdy for what it costs. I made sure to give every part of it a good, hard wobble and it feels like it'll hold together pretty well. If not, there's at least a 1-year warranty, though in my experience with chairs, I've always made them last for a good 5 years before replacing them. I expect this one should last that long at least judging by the build quality.

But can it do this? - Yes, it can, and you don't have to pay $399!

Comfort - This is where I felt rather disappointed with this purchase. Like I said, I'm a stocky guy, and I also like to spread my legs a tad when I'm sitting. Well, the raised edges of the seat, seem to try and prohibit that, especially since they are kinda hard. After just half an hour of sitting, my thighs were starting to ache as a result. The seat itself also lacks in the padding and butt-curve department. There's some, but it's not enough that you should be sitting in it for more than and hour or two before you feel your cheeks starting to ache a bit. The arm rests are hard as well, so if you like using the armrests like me, you'll find your elbows hurting after just a few minutes.

All in all, it's a fine product if you are one of those people who leaves the arm rests off, not wide at the hips, and/or can relax sitting while trying to squeeze your legs together a bit. I understand that part of the design is supposed to be based on the whole race car chair thing, but they REALLY could have done better in the comfort department. Anyway, if you're a stocky guy, or if you're overweight, go for the office chair design. Honestly, I wish I could return this chair, but sadly, cut down the box because it was in the way, and my living space is small. I guess if any of my friends needs a chair, I'll just give it to them.
