I purchased these Double Espresso Scuro pods for my Nespresso machine and have been very happy with them. The flavor is rich, bold, and smooth without being overly bitter. It has a deep roasted taste that works well on its own or with a splash of milk for a stronger latte or cappuccino.

One thing worth mentioning is that I mistakenly thought this Amazon listing was a variety pack, but that was entirely my error. It contains only Double Scuro espresso pods. Thankfully, I have already tried this blend, so it ended up working out perfectly.

The pods are for with my Nespresso Vertuo Lilac machine, brew consistently, and produce a nice crema. If you enjoy a darker, more intense espresso with plenty of flavor, I would definitely recommend giving these a try.

Our family loves these Double Espresso capsules. They are perfect for my partner's quick shot(s) of espresso when he needs a pick-me-up, but I also use them to create a cafe-quality Mocha Latte to start each morning. The flavor is a perfect espresso blend without being bitter, and the shots come out a rich color and texture with a nice foam that does not even look like it came from a pod. We have hardly even tried other flavors or varieties because these are so good.

Nespresso products are always top quality. A slightly higher price point for the convenience of buying through Amazon instead of their website. If you use subscribe and save then it's not too bad of a difference. The double espresso scuro is our favorite flavor, bold, lots of caffeine at a great taste.

Sent to my son for his new Nespresso machine. Nice selection of coffee. He is enjoying the espressos especially, which he likes in quadruple(!) amounts. I bought him the Vertuo Pop machine, which he loves. The sheer joy of a perfect cup of coffee at the click of a button, makes this wonderfully simple pod system such a joy! The coffee volumes are a little hard to understand, but that’s easily adjusted if required.
