its more than i was expecting, it came with everything, easy to assemble, i was so eager to build it i didnt think of the order of all the stuff i wanted to put in it that i had to reorganize everything like 4 times untill i got it right!!! very usefull for a homelab or anyone that wants to get rid of the mess that usually everyone has at their home!!!!

Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2025Bought this Tecmojo 12U mini rack because I was tired of my servers and switches living on a shelf like some 1990s IT closet. For $179 shipped it’s honestly stupid good.
The good stuff:
• Super solid build quality; thick steel, no wobble even when I loaded all 12U with a 4U NAS, 2U switch, 1U firewall, and a couple patch panels
• Comes fully assembled except the casters (took 5 minutes with a screwdriver)
• Removable side panels and both doors (front glass + rear solid) make cable management a breeze
• 10-inch depth is perfect for most mini PCs, short-depth switches (Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, etc.), and shallow rack shelves
• Casters roll smooth and lock solid; I move the whole thing around the office without drama
• Tons of cable tie points and the included vertical cable bars actually work
The one thing to know: It’s only ~15 inches deep inside (10-inch rack standard). Anything longer than about 13-14 inches won’t fit (most full-size tower servers, deep 1U/2U rack servers, etc.). Measure your gear first! My Synology DS1823 and short-depth Dell/HP servers fit fine, but my old 2U Supermicro with rails was a no-go.
If you’re running a homelab with mini PCs, short-depth gear, or just need a clean way to rack switches/UPS/patch panels, this thing is perfect. Looks way more expensive than it is and finally got my mess of wires off the floor. Already recommended it to three buddies. Just measure twice before you buy!

Great little rack for getting rid of clutter
Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2025I needed a small rack so that I could finally move my NAS, Plex server and some smart home gear away from where my router is sitting in my main living area and into a tidier configuration in the office. The 12U version of this rack works perfectly.
Instructions aren’t great but if you’re half decent with flat pack furniture you should have no issues. My picture shows all of the included shelves and faceplates installed (the shelf at the bottom is half depth and I think designed for raspberry pis, but fits my switch perfectly). I can fit all the gear I wanted and still have room for another 2 bay NAS, patch panel and maybe a Mac mini or some pis if I choose.
In summary, this is a great little rack if you just want a compact and tidy way to store your media, home automation or small footprint network gear.
