    This was such an intriguing book which blended a variety of characters such as witches, ghosts, vampires, and a necromancer, all woven together with themes of found family, espionage, betrayal, and romance. The emotional turmoil I experienced while reading was intense, as I tried to decipher who could actually be trusted as the story unfolded.

    Though the beginning felt a bit slow, the pacing picks up significantly in the second half, delivering action-packed chapters that kept me glued to this book. I found myself holding my breath through moments of heartbreak and suspense as characters faced life-and-death situations.

    I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for dark fantasy and to fall in love with these diverse characters.

    I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

    This was such a great read! It started off a little bit slow, but once it picked up it was so good! It is filled with witches, vampires, ghosts, and an amazing necromancer! Found family, betrayal in the worst way, and some romance mixed in. It is low on spice, but still a delicious read that is action packed and full of suspense. I am so ready for the next book in this series!
