How to Cook Red Winter Wheat Berries
- 1 Cup Red Winter Wheat Berries
- 3 Cups Water
- Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Add 1 cup wheat berries and reduce the heat. Simmer until tender, about 25 minutes
How to Store Wheat Berries
Stored in an air-tight container, in a dry, cool, and dark location they can last decades. Freezing your wheat for long-term storage can negatively affect the properties of the wheat.
