These plant markers are the best quality I've ever seen!! These aren't the typically flimsy plant markers that get mangled in the garden by critters. They are made of iron so the plates are a very sturdy, thick gauge and they are powder coated. Even thicker gauge metal is used for the stakes (which are actually polished!) so they are a very sturdy product! The entire set is packaged brilliantly!! These plant marker stakes are well worth the money! I use plant marker stakes to label my hybrid daylily collection with their registered name and characteristic information using sticker labels on the plate. These plant marker stakes are so nice, I plan on eventually replacing all of my current plant markers with them. You will not be disappointed, folks!!

The best plant markers! I use a silver sharpie as they are black . Super easy to mark, slide through the pin and place near the plant. I have tried many markers but the length of these, ease of use and durability make it now my only plant marker

These were so pretty in my garden this year. They stand high so you can see what is planted even once the plants take off in size. Got compliments on how nice they looked. Made the garden look organized and kept us in the know of what was planted where. The held up well to the scorching heat of the Georgia summer and all the rain too. Will be able to use them over and over because I pick them up for the winter and store them.

Love the size, durability, signs are easily read. I bought these last spring the sign themselves are great and held up well. I bought them to identify the plant - disappointed that the writing isn't permanent. I used a permanent sharpie. Perhaps if I spray with a sealant the writing will not disappear

Love these. Great value. I use a white on black label with my dymo label maker and they look very classy in my garden. So far they are holding up through the winter.

I purchased the STARTOSTAR metal plant stakes a few weeks ago.

I received these OK5OK5STAR metal plant stakes today.

Comparison:

•Sturdy OK5STAR metal label plate.

More durable than the STARTOSTAR brand which bends easier.

•A pen did not come with STARTOSTAR.

Rubbing alcohol took the pen mark off when I needed to relabel a plant.

OK5STAR  Pen works well. Waiting to see how durable the ink is over the summer.

•The metal stakes for the STARTOSTAR product feel more durable than the OK5STAR. I'll let you know how they survive through the summer.

•The metal label comes already attached to the STARTOSTAR product.

The metal label plate for the OK5STAR is not attached.

•Both are about the same when trying to write on the metal plate. Not difficult but not like writing on a flat surface.

•For transplants, I like the fact that you could stick the plastic label, that that comes with the transplant, behind so you can refer to info during the growing season.

My ideal plant stakes would be to have the metal stake From STARTOSTAR with the metal label plate from OK5STAR.

Both of these brands are less expensive than the ones I bought from Gardeners Supply, for essentially the same product.

That being said, I'm using the plants stakes from Gardeners Supply for the third summer. Hoping the recently purchased STARTOSTAR stakes last as long.
