Amazing book. Wonderful pictures and quality of the book itself. Love that the audio book follows right along and had a chime to turn the page. My kids have read it again and again. Absolutely the best thing we got them for Christmas!!! Love them learning and then wanting to share it.

My 3 yo was "reading" the book to Grandma after just hearing the story once. That is how beautiful and well done the pictures and story is.

I bought this book to read to my 4 year old son. My plan was to read a chapter each night. To my shock and delight, he didn't want me to stop reading it. In fact, we have already read through it twice since getting this Christmas. I know this book will help lead us to many biblical conversations that I am looking forward to as my son grows older. This is a must book for littles!! We love it so much. It is and will continue to bless our family.

I was surprised by how much my two year old would love this book. It’s quite advanced for his age but he likes looking at the graphics and he seems pretty engaged. As a parent, I’m always trying to share the gospel at every opportunity, and this presents it in a fun and age appropriate way. I highly recommend!

This book is so good. I bought it got my daughter several years ago. It is so moving, as it tells the story of Young Christian’s journey to the Celestial City. I found myself in tears many times. The illustrations are beautiful, and the summaries and questions at the end of each chapter really help myself and my kiddos to think and reflect on what we have read. We have several books from Lithos kids and we love all of them.

Bought this as a gift for my sister and her boys. They love it, and like rereading it.

Sturdy and beautiful version of an enduring tale. My son really enjoyed reading this together with my husband. Great book for little boys.

I love this story and so does my son. My son was gifted this by his sister. I liked it so much I gifted one to my niece for her son. I would buy again and if I find another child to give it to I will.

The 3 year old was able to listen for a couple of pages before squirming in her seat, she enjoyed looking at the pictures while most of the concepts went over her head. The 4-5 year olds I read the book to listened and understood the main points of the book, but not the details. It has provided great in-depth conversations about spiritual things for the 6+ year olds. I read the entire book in one sitting over the phone with my nieces and nephew. When we got disconnected part way through they called back and asked to finish reading the book.

Pros: full color pictures on every page, age appropriate terminology, accurate retelling of the Pilgrims progress, bite size chapters that could be read in 5-10 minutes, 10 chapters total.

Cons: the questions and explanation page were presented at the end of the chapter with no images and made it difficult to connect the allegory to the photos and story. It would have been easier to have the explanation on each page. It was helpful to read the description at the end of the chapter prior to reading the story to help explain as we read along.

Loved this. Faithful to the original text, beautiful illustrations that embrace diversity. My 2.5 year old asks for this to be read every night. Of course his favourite chapter is the battle with Apollyon!

This is a superb new children's version of the classic Pilgrims Progress by John Bunyan. Beautiful artwork, helpful review questions and very easy to read text which is faithful to the original. I got this for my children but I really enjoyed it myself. I highly recommend it for children and also for families to read, discuss and learn together about the truth of what the Bible says about the nature of the normal Christian life of following Jesus. I've been looking for a version like this since watching the recent animated movie of Pilgrims Progress for families. Very pleased with it and have already recommended it to other parents and leaders in children's ministry.

I read one chapter a night to my 2 year old daughter and she loves it. She follows the story super well and asks good questions about the story. Would highly recommend.

I bought this book to read to my little grandchildren. It’s beautifully written, beautifully illustrated and of exceptional quality. They loved it! It creates lots of opportunities through questions after each chapter to dig into the deeper, biblical meaning of this allegory that parallels the journey of living a Christian life. I’ve already bought another copy as a gift.

Pilgrim’s Progress can be a difficult read but this adaptation designed for children provides an easy summary. My seven-year old son loved it. The explanations of each chapter were helpful and the pictures suited the purpose. As with the original, some of the cultural differences (such as a lack of female characters) seem dated, but the kids didn’t really pick up on this.
