Le thé Darjeeling tire son nom de la région de Darjeeling, au nord de l’Inde, où il est exclusivement cultivé. À l’ouverture du sachet, les feuilles sont belles, entières. Il n’y a pas de poudre ou de brisures. Je bois ce thé le matin depuis une quinzaine de jours. Je le laisse infuser 4 minutes dans l’eau bouillante. Il a une couleur ambrée, très prononcée, et une odeur florale et boisée agréable. Le goût est légèrement musqué, un peu amer, mais c’est comme ça que je l’aime. Pour retirer de l’amertume, il faut le laisser infuser un peu moins longtemps : 3 minutes. L’avantage du thé en vrac est de pouvoir ajuster la quantité de feuilles en fonction de son goût et de la quantité d’eau que l’on utilise. C’est aussi un bon moyen de s’assurer de la qualité des feuilles. Comme avec ce thé. L’emballage est refermable et opaque, ce qui permet une excellente conservation des arômes. Je préfère toutefois le transvaser dans une boîte hermétique, pour plus de praticité dans mon placard. En résumé : les amateurs de thé Darjeeling, comme moi, seront ravis de celui-ci. Et son label bio est un atout supplémentaire pour ne pas s’en priver.
