As a detail ink artist, Sakura Gelly Rolls are an essential staple in my pen arsenal (along with Sakura Microns). I use the Gelly Rolls on black or toned paper and as highlights on black ink and charcoal pieces. I always keep a small sheet of black scratch paper next to the piece to keep the ink flowing with small squiggles. I make use of all weights (05, 08, and 10 depending on my line needs). 05 is perfect for intricate stippling such as stars and 10 works well for covering broader areas.

I've experimented with other brands of white ink such as Pilot, paint pens, white pastel, and white ink with a crow quill. Maybe it's just my personal preference, but Gelly Rolls really do seem to perform the best—smooth, sharp, and bold.

I use white pen on printed papers to add swooshes. This works on paper that’s been colored with watercolors, alcohol markers and watercolor pencils. This was even recommended by a scrapbooking and card making website! It’s what they use from Amazon as well!

I've tried multiple other brands of white gel pens (Pentel, most recently) and they all produce inconsistent lines with skips and breaks. This is the only one I've found that lays down a smooth, consistent line. Flows beautifully. Recommended!

I bought these for addressing save the date on my Cricut machine. They did a great job once I moved the rollers. The ink doesn’t dry immediately so it can smear. The save the dates look beautiful once I tweaked some things.

Perfect for touching up spots on my page, and adding highlights! I like it better than acrylic pen, especially for precision and opacity. Takes some getting used to and guns up a little while using but nothing too bad at all! Sometimes it cuts through the flow if you press too hard, and looks a little spotty if you go too light, so definitely practice before using on your coloring!

I use this for highlights for my graphite drawings. I suggest them all the time to people. Absolutely perfect for eye glints and jewelry shine, stray hair, etc.

I have tried other gel pens and these are the best by far! I originally bought a three pack with 05, 08 and 10 but I found that I mostly use the 10. They last a long time!

Honestly for me, gelly roll never fails. I’m a huge fan of thei glitter ink and I recently needed a white pen and all the ones I found wouldn’t work on top of acrylic paint. These pens began flowing immediately and work really well. They also dry relatively fast. They do smudge when wet.

Ottime penne bianche a gel, le ricomprerei assolutamente. sono diventate fondamentali per realizzare i punti luce di alcuni miei disegni, prima di prendere queste ne avevo comprate alcune di diverso tipo e non ne vendono di migliori!
